You reap what you sow
Big question now is what sort of position dows this put us in for next season ?
Are we debt free with a handful of contracted players or back to square one ?

We all said the team was much better after the signings. That our season had a mini reset.

It’s not worked at all.

The new players don’t seem great will be a tough ask.

Not all of us. We lost leaders and I don't think any line up, subs included, is particularly better than the best we could put out last year. Hamer is probably the only one who would improve last year's side and maybe Archer who haven't really done much in the last two games

Need a new owner by the end of the season and a decent spend in the summer.

It's not even close to 20m net spend. Archer is an elaborate loan and there's no way Souza cost 10m. It's 5m tops.

I'd swap last season's squad for this season's in a heartbeat.

As yesterday showed and as the Prince keeps saying, the players in the last year of their contract always perform better. They're fighting for a new deal can't you see

You’d have to assume that if we went down and the ownership situation is the same that we won’t be spending much so unless we start handing out some new deals we’ll have this summers signings minus Archer and probably Hamer plus the kids and some loans.

Huge rebuild will be needed next summer. With no money.

You can spend as much as you like, the state of the defending, which absolutely comes from what they're doing on the training pitch, is going to require the best strike force and midfield the world has ever seen.

The gulf between the prem and the Championship is huge that’s why us Luton and Burnley will go down.
No need to panic we have good Championship squad and with the talented young uns who we have we will be fine.

I know we've been awful but surely we can pick a few million up on sales? Anel and Souza I'd be happy for to go.

These are the current contracted players for next season; (who've been involved in squads)

Grbic

Curtis
Anel
Robinson
Trusty

Hamer
Souza
Slimane
Davies
Arblaster
Brooks

Osula
Traore
Brewster

Could end up selling Arblaster if a good offer comes in

How do we need to possibly sell anyone, archer is going back so that means basically we've been promoted and spent nothing. We made 9m or 15m I think when we first went up and spent about 100m on transfers. Surely the club will have made an absolute fortune, which I'm hoping is what is being used for the new training ground and getting the academy up to scratch. Next seasons parachute payments alone will cover the wage bill. Surely the club is out of any financial issues going forward.
