Can I throw night matches into the mix. As I live some distance from Sheff and night matches are a pain to get to, I'd happily pass up night games regardless of who the opposition is. Sheff/Yorkshire based fans would then have a slightly better chance of getting to those games.

I realise that passing up night games probably shouldn't result in you getting a proportionately higher number of Saturday/weekend games as they would be everyone's preference (proper day out, meet buddies, few beers etc) so I'm not really sure how this could work. I suppose you would just decline your allocation of the 1 or 2 night games and they would go into a ballot.....?? It would be a job and half for someone in the club to administer.

In my humble opinion no season ticket for next season. the best way to go is loyalty points.no complications.
and everyone knows where they stand.season after all season ticks from 2019-20 have dibs.

Shit way to do it but allow season ticket renewals and rotate. It’s a farce anyway if you let 30% in you may as well let 100% in as others will still turn up and they’ll be the ones that ignore all government advice.

The computerised system would void tickets of fans not allowed in for said match ,cant see better way of doing it than that. every season ticket would get there matches in rotation.
The match day tickets are the headache, finding a fair system for them will be difficult,that is if there are any for individuel matches.

It seems obvious to me that some/most/all PL clubs, if they have to restrict crowd numbers, will just go to a highest bidder approach. Demand will massively outstrip supply. Players, agents & loans will still need to be paid. And, they'll need as much money as they can harvest for the signings they'll need to announce. They'll just take bids starting at say £200 per ticket, per game & take it from there.

The Premier League might be a cesspit of corruption and exploitation, but they do have previous with price restrictions and ticket allocations don't they - isn't it £30 and a certain proportion of the ground for away fans.

It's not impossible there would be some variation on this theme for home fans for next season.

I've always been very intrigued as to how much live fans add to the value of PL TV rights. My jaundiced opinion is that .... sterile, training ground style matches played in front of empty grounds (as we now, unavoidably, have), would soon start losing some of the worldwide TV audience. I firmly believe people in Doha, Kuala Lumpur, Melbourne & Salt Lake City, while paying to see Salah & Sterling & Son, are also paying to see you & me losing our marbles in the stands. It adds to the sense of spectacle, of occasion, the product. Partly, that is why the £30 cap was introduced. Someone with a brain realised that without Away Fans, the product isn't as attractive.

Plenty of mixed opinions on this in loads of different threads, so where do you stand?
If we renew ST's all not picked would get a match credit.
If we suspend ST's all attending would pay per game.

Closing on Monday as its likely we will get an announcement next week.

Here is my view.

Club sells 1/2 season ticket at 1/2 the price of last year plus the 4 games - so each season ticket has 23 games on it.

We get access on a every other game basis until/if the 1/3 rule is relaxed - my thinking is 25,000ish ticket holders is 12,500 which just over a 1/3 of capacity with no away fans.

Hope fully that changes at some point and the club comes back for the rest when we run out of credits.

I appreciate this really is shit for non-season ticket holders
