This is in General Blades Chat as it is an open invite to all.

For a few years, a number of us have been intermittently meeting on a Sunday morning to have a friendly, "non-competitive" game of football. It started as a way to keep in touch through the close season and carried on.

All age-ranges and abilities are welcome and the cost of the pitches are shared equally between those playing.

This week we'll be playing at Goals, Norfolk Park Road and the cost will be £2 each.
So, if anyone is free this coming Sunday morning and fancies a game, this is what you need to know:

Venue: Goals, Norfolk Park Road, Sheffield (Click here for directions)

Time: 09:30
Cost: £2 each
What you need: Trainers or astro-turf boots. No studs. Shinpads optional. A sense of humour.
Guests are welcome.

Please yay or nay for definite by Friday night if possible. I can then let everyone know in enough time if the numbers are looking good enough to get a game. I've already booked the pitch, assuming there will be enough interest.

It's to allow you to beat the queues at the NHS "walk-in" when you've put your back out!

We found that more people tend to turn up at 9.30am than 10.30am for some reason?

Team 163 really took the slash with the pups today, such grace and balance. We were inspired by the Blades yesterday.

Cannot wait for closed season. Kids football finishes on April 24th. Hope its still going after that.
