I would be fine with signing a no nonsense stopper, as we get bullied far too easily. But if we are going with two CBs then I think the other one needs to be at least a capable ball player and unfortunately that is not Jack Robinson.

Wouldn't be adverse to a Morgan/Kilgallon style partnership but that would mean two new CBs and someone stumping up some money for Anel to fund it.

If it's a back 4 Anel/Robbo will be exposed, need a Worral type.

Depends whether Wilder is flexible about a left footer at left centre back. It's important in a three, not so much in a four. Anel is pretty mobile (if he can be arsed), so I think him and Souttar/Worrall could work.

Having said that, I hope Gilchrist is the CB. Would settle for the other names mentioned at this point though.
 
Hoever will be a stellar signing and one, if it works out, we could easily make permanent.

Having seen him at Stoke, there's a player there that an attacking side could really utilise
 
Are there others like me who have actually never heard of the majority of players were linked with never mind thier individual attributes.
I may be a minority but get so tunnel visioned watching the blades players performances i take hardly any notice of our opponents never mind those in other divisions .
Hats off to those on here who have the level knowledge that's beyond me .
 
Hoever and Gilchrist, think any attacking reinforcements (like Cannon) will come afterwards as we need to sort defence and keeper out first.

Because I'm gay for Worrall and his superior mobility and leadership qualities. More able to play in both a back 4 and a 3. He's the best fit for us and is a long time Wilder target

Signing his old partner McKenna as well would then give us a ready made partnership

You don t necessarily have to be gay do you to have a player preference?
 
wont be worrall or cooper as both demanding fees got to be 2 from hoever gilchrist or souttar and seing as wilder was in for him in january has to be souttar even though he turned us down has his limitations but think his type is just what we need at centre back were far too soft back there hoever i think is nailed on to come in
 
It will be nice to get a couple of Prem loans in relatively early - they tend to be once the parent sides have declared their playing squads, which is once the season has started

Don't think we'd use a loan space on him. Think he's one we'll try and raise the cash for, or try and get him close to end of window when Forest want to offload dead wood

yes think same he might be dead wood for forest in the prem but he could be crucial for us we need at least 1 physical no nonsense centre back to come in possibly 2 because i havent got a great deal of confidence in robinson in a back 4 think souttar and or gilchrist will come in as well and possible that trusty could be moved on
