Metal blade no its not Charles! K mac deal is nearly done. He could get more money but doesn't want to go to London where the offer is.
I think we are nearly there and he does want to stay. I think if we can keep the back two and the central two we will be ok for next year. He should be back tomorrow all being well and hopefully all agreed by Friday

I take it K mac has not been at training this week yet then ?
 
Apologies metal blade. I meant if we can keep Harry and Collins plus k mac and Doyle we should be ok. Or maybe you think different.? He should be back tomorrow . No idea why not today. I think we all agree that if the board give DW the money from the Lowton sale or at least a chunk of it we should be ok. The kid from man utd seems to have some decent reviews and at least he is quick which is something we have needed for a while now.
 
Safe to say Maguire as stirred some interest and that McDonald has been whoring himself around for more cash but no mention of Williamson and you mention Collins and Doyle hmmmmm you know something we don't ???
Don't forget we still need to shift a few high earners, having cash to spend doesn't worry me there are good players for this level going for free paying their wages is my concern.

So even though the money is better McD doesn't fancy Charlton then ???
 
What an absolute ridiculous state of affairs. First day of training and we have players who may turn up....or then again they may not? Aah it's ok though because we're in such shit state that we need them, so we'll wait as long as it takes, we won't even think about replacing them (just in case they can be arsed to show up) and all the while time ticks on. Our "preparation" for the coming season is disrupted.

The game's gone mad, it's like Sunday morning pub football when you turn up wondering how many players you're going to have because some may have hangovers, some may have been locked up etc etc. I know it's not just us but come on, surely we're a big enough club and a proud enough club not to have the piss taken like this?

Fuck me, we've become a joke, seriously, we're a laughing stock and this is getting to be about as bad as I've known it in my 50 years of being a Blade. No point gobbing off either because nobody cares. Looks like the club's really ill right now, and if we keep going like this it could very soon be terminal.

Makes me sad remembering what a great club we used to be, all those fabulous memories will soon count for nothing. Thank God I'm old enough to have seen us when the club actually meant something.

Rob Staton on twitter today: "Kevin McDonald not at training with #Sufc. Danny Wilson admits he expected him here and it's disappointing. Hasn't ruled out a deal."

He's interviewed DW this morning. Also says, Lee Williamson is at training but no deal agreed yet. Two players on trial - Jamille Matt (striker from Kidderminster Harriers) and Jack Dean (right back, ex Fulham)
 
Jamille Matt could be a decent prospect. Big, strong and very fast. Smart lad as well.

Let's hope Billy Dearden earns his money and we get some rough diamonds in - he certainly did the business scouting at Blackpool.

Can anybody remember a summer that didn't have us hoping the club wouldn't sell this guy, would keep hold of that one? I honestly can't. Many fans seem to enjoy transfer windows, eagerly anticipating an exciting new signing. I don't believe I've ever experienced that.

When we first got promoted to the PL it was all about who were we going to sign and then Warnock made some shocking signings. We got relegated and we made some kinda big name moves and were not too worried about players leaving apart from Jagielka (which most of us expected).

How can he be on trial with us if he's extended his contract at Kidderminster?
