Having bought the retro bobble hat with the Laver logo I started thinking about that squad. I found this photo, and only remember about half of the faces - time and beer take their toll! I couldn’t find a pic with names on, so is anybody’s memory good enough to put names to all the faces for me please?

That season above all others is imprinted indelibly on my memory! I'd probably get fewer right on this season's photo!

Chuff me hairstyle police would arrest most of that lot now and the old Kop and those lovely luminescant away shirts....Webbo looks like he is being transported up to the USS Enterprise in that photo...great pashsionate team and manager just as we have now but perhaps even more so, both teams turning over the piggies on their home soil....one a rainy wet wednesday night in 92 and then the bouncing day massacre....

I’m the same - except my indelible memory is 1971!!!

I have only missed 1 home game in 3 years, but I still muddle up some of our players - I blame my eyesight!!!
