I had that shirt, stupid bird at the time put a fag burn in it.

I offered a woman on eBay £100 for an original one (up from £70 1st offer). Told me she could sell it for £250. I told her to fuck off then. I’ve seen the odd one on eBay but they’re like rocking horse shit
I paid around £80 for mine off eBay, around 10 years ago. Also my favourite.

My favourite United shirt, without a shadow of a doubt! was it ever released for the public to buy?
If anyone has an original get in touch and I can offer different shirts for trade or some dosh.
All that being said; surely this retro is a perfect substitute until the original turns up? Especially for a shirt connoisseur like yourself!

Very rare, expect to pay £160 upwards. Only one iv seen recently was poor condition. Saw one about 5 years ago, sold for £390, mint condition. Iv been after it for around 9 years, its the only one missing from my collection .

FFS, I was in Suggs in June 1989 and this shirt was reduced to about £15 and I was going to buy it, but didn't as thought wait for the new one.

you’re a big lad is it all the carrots?? :)

I am not really that big, you understand......

I am just allowing 4cm tolerance for the missus when she inevitably shrinks the garment during the first washing and drying process.

I take size 13-15 socks (softops naturally) but only take a size 9.5 shoe. I find they fit perfectly after one wash.

Just thought you should know.

If thats in mint condition its worth around £240-£270. Possibly even around £300 to an avid collector like myself. They are that old they just don’t come up for sale anymore. Lovely.

I've got one, fits a 14 year old, but it's not for sale.

My two big losses:

1. The 1989-91 luminous away kit. Left it in a gym at Granville College. Still annoyed about this 20 years later.

2. A Euro 1988 USSR shirt (like the Dutch one but red). It was at my mother's, but haven't seen it for years and I suspect she chucked it. Am becoming annoyed about this as it apparently has some value.

I've got one. In mint condition along with the yellow away and also this shirt being advertised. None are for sale though.

What I am after though is the yellow shirt with the scarves on the sleeve. Can only find Large or XL. I could do with a S or M.

And it's white 3rd shirt.. although that was only sold in L and XL
