1973 last win at Old Trafford.

I didn't even know we'd won there in 1973! I wasn't born then in fairness but would have expected this to be on a video somewhere? Was it from the 1972/73 season or the one after?

The only game I've seen around that time was that game where we get done by George Best, and I've read that Hemsley wasn't on the pitch at the time and instead that fell to Gill Reece and of course he was a winger. Maybe that would have ended differently if Hemsley was on the pitch at the time!

My first ever game was v Man U in 1991 when Deano and Bradas scored and Vinny Jones gave away the most blatant handball! Anyway, I digress! Night Blades fans! We've just beaten Man U away!

Won 2-1 on Easter Monday 1973 (Dearden, Eddy), Bobby Charlton's last home game also on Boxing Day 1973 (Currie, Woodward), George Best's last home game. I was at both games also the 2-0 defeat in October 1971.

I was at the Easter game. I was happily telling my lads this evening it was the last time we won at OT, only to discover we did it twice in the same calendar year, but consecutive seasons, both 2-1, so 72/73 and 73/74, to answer Booker4 ’s question above.

I was there too . Me and my mate interrupted a golfing holiday in Wales to be there and enjoyed every minute , including giving the finger to Man U supporters on coaches we passed on the way up there .
