This is the last time a forward scored for the Blades during a match! Dave Kitson v Brentford in the 62 minute. That is over 12 games ago.
So since a forward last scored in competitive games we have won 2 drawn 2 and lost 8. Scored 6 conceded 16. It is total garbage.
Morgan's record P5 W1 D1 L3, Wier's record P7 W1 D2 L4. Indeed over their first five games they were virtually identical. The only difference was Weir's sides scored more goals. Morgan's teams scored 1 conceding 5 and Weir's scoring 5 and conceding 9.
I wonder if the thing missing at the moment is not enthusiasm but a manager/coach who can get the side to perform. Weir's philosophy may be pretty tippy tappy football but er excuse me at Everton, what actually did they win?
This has all the hallmarks of a poor campaign. Perhaps our new co-owner could be viewed as the new Reg Brearley. All we need is a new Porterfield to deliver. C'mon Weir get yer bloody finger out! Expectation is high - time for you to produce the goods!
