What time's everyone else getting there?

I'm playing squash till half 6 in Dronfield.... S.S.S then i'm there, around 18:45, might not have time for the last S... think of it how you want.

Might finally meet some of you forum lot? Never met any of ya!

I can remember going past it a few times when playing football on a Sunday. We used to meet not far away from there actually - I just don't pay any attention on how to get there.

I know Meadowhead, yeah... Thanks for the advice. :D

I thoroughly enjoyed the game. Just got back and I was impressed from what I saw of Reid, Gray and Brown.

Was happy with the performances tonight, thought Gray looked ok, was stood next to Morgs and Killa warming up with Speed. Morgs was hilarious screaming "MORGS" and attacking avery header like his life depended on it. I think we need to have some forum t-shirts made or something cos I haven't got the bottle to go up to random groups of people to ask if thet're from the forum. Either that or i should have had a look at the members photo's to get an idea who you are. D'OH

I reckon I saw Linz (I've seen a pic of her and I'm sure it was her), and if it was, then I wasn't situated too far away from her and 'the gang'.

Well i'm glad i didn't say owt to the couple i saw that i thought may be foxy and linz. Cos having seen a photo now it wasn't them.I tried to make my way over to the dugouts but had to retreat for a jacket (and a pint).
It wasn't all bad news though cos i won the raffle ticket green 496, a lovely bottle of blossom hill wine. Anyway i'll have to catch you at the lion at some point or maybe chesterfield.
Oh and forgot to add that i agree with mattbianco1, the coach and horses landlady is fit :D

Just read it, Linz. Impressive, as always. I don't have a clue who scored the pens for Club either to be honest, as I didn't even bother to buy myself a programme.

I was really impressed by Brown tonight. Although he gave a penalty away, I don't believe he was to blame. If anyone, I'd blame Morgan for getting dragged out of position just seconds before.

Tonight was never meant to be a truly competitive game, and as someone who does go to watch Club in the League as well as the Blades, it was good to hear the Noisy Boys yelling a bit. That said, most of them are Blades too, so again at the Clubpub, some fun was to be had behind the net at the car park end.

I still want to know why Keenzy was running the line, and as for the dickhead who insisted that David Cotterill was Paul Shaw (I kid you not), and persisted with interminable shite all through the first half, just go back to school.

Shred was but a few yards away from you. Had he heard you, you would have been blasted away with a flick of his Tony Currie forked tail tongue. I was too polite.

Bit of a quickie... cus I'm freezing and soaked through.

LINKY

I must've been stood right next to you Linz. I was around there for the first half. (i got right soaked!)

Then got told off by the steward for walking behind the dugouts. Good job i did or a little bit of wee may have popped out!

Judging by the piccies i must have been stood near you guys too, so near and yet so far...
Unfortunately i bottled it when it hammered down and went to get my coat and a pint.

For all those who attended and offered comments on the game, thanks to one and all. Although we often complain it is really good for us exiles when we get opinions from fellow Blades on the different players. Carney at left-back is not asurprise with Naysmith out but did it work?

I'd say he played fairly well there... definitely looked as though he was playing for a place. A better judge of whether it is a long term solution will be whether it works against Chesterfield, Lincoln or Bury.

I was impressed with Carney's performance at left back to be honest.

I was suprised when I first heard that he would be playing there, but he seemed to get more stuck in there than when he plays in midfield. He was always looking for the ball, and started to advance further up the pitch, supporting Reid, in the second half.

I thought he did ok. After all he plays there for Australia.

Allow me to sound a note of caution though.

Carney played well last preseason... but was bobbins against Huddersfield in the cup before being unceremoniously dropped.

One swallow does not a summer make.
