Shame, my grandparents were members of bellhouse, remember many club trips to Mablethorpe as a kid, also my in laws, members of lane top, but often went to Firth Park( they always called idsworth road) on a Saturday night, upstairs for bingo and the " turn", never thought much about it at the time but what great nights and some great acts we have witnessed, Charlie Williams, bobby knutt and what always made me laugh was when the group came on at the end and all the women were up dancing in the ailes, how embarrassing I thought as a young bloke used to going to the clubs in town, until of course I did it, shame though, wonder how many wmc are left and if any will be here in say 10 years, the first club I was a member of was the upper Heeley, long since gone.
