What a day !! Beers and kebabs with Foxy, Balham Blade and other Blades in Pimlico, a mad taxi dash to Stamford Bridge to make the kick off, the despair of losing two early goals and fearing a hammering, an amazing comeback in the second half and playing "The Pride of London" off the park, Robbo, Moose, elation, "two-nil and you fucked it up".

Ten more minutes and it would have been three points for the pub team from Sheffield. Walking down the Fulham Road afterwards like ten men, so proud of our lads. Great memories.

Yes. That was the match this little bald-headed bloke with specs grabbed hold of me and started trying to shake me up and down. He’d not said a dicky bird to me before that, but now he was embracing me, although he struggled to lift my 15 ston and his head slid further towards my nether parts.
