Leicester were bottom of the prem table

today they are top

shows football can turn in a short time
we have to find the formula to do this
Leicester havent spent the most
theyve not bought household names or stars

they do seem to have found a good manager
The manager before got them into the PL
The owners have sanctioned £12 million on Okazaki
And they havn't got McCabe & Co pulling the rug from under everyone

peanuts compared to what chelsea man u man city and spurs spend
what sits on man citys bench cost more than Leicesters squad

To be honest I thought you'd be all over the Leicester story round about when you stopped comparing this season with Southampton 's promotion,,,,,,season
they are all just examples of how football fluctuates
take coventry and gillingham , theyve suddenly starting cracking at the seams
Barnsley after being relegation material found out how to win , not always convincingly
we have fluctuated wildly over the years, ,
we have periods of shittiness and periods of utter shittiness

Luke Skywalker was a Force-sensitivehumanmaleJedi Master. He was the son of fallen Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker and SenatorPadmé Amidala, the grandson of Shmi Skywalker Lars, the step-nephew to Owenand Beru Lars, the twin brother of Leia Organa and the uncle of Ben. Skywalker and his sister were born on the asteroidPolis Massa, unbeknownst to their father, the recently christened Sith Lord Darth Vader. After his mother died in labor, Skywalker was separated from his sister and taken by Jedi MasterObi-Wan Kenobi to the planetTatooine to be raised by the Lars family, out of sight of the Galactic Empire.

Skywalker grew up unaware of his origins, but his life changed forever with his uncle's purchase of two droidsR2-D2 and C-3PO—carrying plans to the Imperial Death Starsuperweapon. After his aunt and uncle were killed by Imperial troops searching for the plans, Skywalker embarked on a journey to deliver the plans to the Rebel Alliance, receiving training in the ways of the Forcefrom Kenobi, and meeting Han Solo and (unbeknownst to him) his sister, PrincessLeia Organa, a member of the Rebellion. Though Kenobi was killed by Vader, Skywalker participated in the Battle of Yavinalongside the Rebels with guidance from Kenobi's spirit, and managed to destroy the Death Star.

As a member of the Rebel Alliance, Skywalker and the Rebels evaded Imperial forces led by Vader, who hunted Skywalker relentlessly over the next three years. As the Rebels were forced to abandon their base during a battleon the snow planet Hoth, Skywalker flew to the swamp planet of Dagobah at the posthumous advice of his late mentor, Kenobi, where he received Jedi training from the exiled Jedi Master Yoda. However, Skywalker was lured into a trap by Vader atCloud City on Bespin, where he engaged the Sith Lord in a lightsaber duel, discovering Vader's identity as his father and losing his hand in the process.

One year later, Skywalker fought in the Battle of Endor before surrendering himself to Vader, realizing he had to confront his father and the Galactic Emperor, Sheev Palpatine, who was also the Sith Lord Darth Sidious. Though Sidious attempted to convert Skywalker to the dark side of the Force, Skywalker declared himself a Jedi and successfully appealed to the good in Vader, who redeemed himself as Anakin Skywalker by destroying Sidious at the cost of his own life. Thanks to Skywalker, the battle ended in a Rebel victory, and he joined his celebrating allies on Endor.

After the fall of the Empire, Luke founded a new Jedi Academy in an attempt to rebuild the Jedi Order. However, he was betrayed by his apprentice and nephew Ben, the man who would become Kylo Ren, who killed the rest of Luke's Padawans and joined the dark sideunder the mysterious Snoke. Blaming himself, Luke withdrew from the galaxy and went on a quest to find the first Jedi Temple. Years later, Luke was found by the Force-sensitive scavenger Rey, who followed a map left behind by Luke with help from R2-D2 andBB-8.

They've got a manager who's not won much in a long career at many big clubs. More important than that, they've bought bloody good players.

Choose your lesson wisely.

Yes but that good manager Mr Tinkerman sent shock waves when appointed and cemented Leicester as one of the favourites for relegation. He has worked miracles and wonders with simple hard work , belief and commitment .

All the words tie in with our own manager Adkins, but are completely missing were it counts , on the pitch . . What he has to prove is that he can also do it . Hearing his interviews or you had just landed on planet earth you would think we were top of the league .

Instead of good old Nigel Adkins thinking or being a mentor for younger managers , he could help himself by getting hold of a LCFC video , and perhaps spending a couple of days in Leicester , seeing how to win and turn losers into winners .

Or give Nigel 3 a ring or meet Pearson in Waitrose car park , and learn how he kept Leicester up last season . The guy may be a twat but at least Adkins may learn summat really positive , not just wordy words.

Our Nigel then could teach Pearson on how to be mega mega positive in a interview , trading this for how to win football matches.

I'll sum up the plot of "revenge of the sith" quicker than that..

"Bearded bloke talks to little green goblin, whilst wooden pretty boy gets stroppy for no apparent reason and ends up with a new black hat."

The End.

Once you've jumped on a bandwagon you really go to town don't you?

Confidence is a massive factor with them. Obviously massively ahead of us in terms of talent but they play without fear. Every person can be 100% confident not just the top players. If vardy spoons one into the stands or Mahrez's fancy flick goes astray it doesn't stop them doing it again. Our players are obvioulsy shit scared of making the wrong decision that they look for the safest option and pass on responsibility. They should grow a pair. The crowd will respond favourably if mistakes are made but the right attitude is there before and after losing a ball. I want us to play bullish, fearless football again and take the game to teams.

Most of their traditional big four rivals are undergoing transitional periods though. All four have either new managers or have inconsistent player groups (Arsenal being the exception in some places). If Mourinho's early Chelsea and Ferguson's Man U were in on the act I think things would look plenty different.

Full marks to Leicester. Even though their team didn't cost much, they are a talented bunch of grafters. Direct, they counter quite brilliantly and they get back in numbers when possession switches.

sickening the cost of some of the 7 player sub benches this season

So even Leicester "squad assembled on a shoe string" City fielded a team purchased for £85m last weekend. The most interesting thing for me is the figures at the lower end - Bournmeouth's have the lowest most expensive line up at £37.5m and the lowest most expensive bench (Norwich) is still £30m!

I know it's 10 years now since United were in the Premiership, but some teams (United included) didn't even come anywhere close to that back then. The bubble must burst soon surely? Perhaps once the new TV deal for next season ends we might start to see some more normal figures.

They just get more like telephone numbers rather than costs
to have 7 sat on a bench worth 175 million , which is more than the entire cost of the entire league one squads put together really shows the gulf

from a football point of view to have 175 m pounds worth of talent sat on recaro seats is cheating fans , depriving them of seeing better players, they should be spread out more evenly

simple analogy of the difference between employing a capable manager compared to a dud

Band wagon is probably what Adkins should be driving, hes no manager

At least you're no longer pushing the lie that you had concerns he wouldn't be good before he was appointed.

There's a much bigger picture and much wider issues in play at the lane that you're incapable of understanding.

It's far easier to mouth off about the manager being a dud from the stats you've read on the internet.

At least you're no longer pushing the lie that you had concerns he wouldn't be good before he was appointed..

you seem to have a bee in your bonnet
about some made up crap youve invented

why would I need to lie over such a trivial piece of crap

you really do act childishly at times
its demeaning for you makes you look more bitter than usual and so pointless

again you look through them if you want Its not worthy of my effort to prove you wrong as its so banal and pathetic ,
do get a life
I come on here to talk football not get called a liar by someone on an intellectual par with a radish
