10 similarities tto Spurs ..

Dont laugh as I am not suggesting we could go into the premier league and finish 2nd but watching Spurs demolish Leicester I kept thinking well we have so many similarities in style..

1.We keep the ball really well and pass it around always searching for space
2. We have players who can receive the ball in limited space yet create space for themselves quickly and move the ball forward to runners
3.We are patient and press the other teams so that they make mistakes
4.We have a wing back sytem that creates so many opportunities
5. Our main striker isnt the quickest but knows how to put the ball in the net
6.We have a large number of players who have scored this year and not been reliant (albeit a high proportion) on one player for our goals
7.Our defense are totally committed and fit and lay bodies on the line to defend
8.We have diffferent attacking options and can adapt within a game to change the pattern of play
9.Our midfield 3 are extremely skillful and a good mix of talent and aggression
10. Our fans are fucking immense !!

OK I might be loooking with red tinted glasses but the more I think how the Pigs played the other night compared to us the less I am worried about how we will do next season.

What we need to hope is that we will be able to maintain the style of play next season, and Wilder sticks to that principle.
But I have seen a bit of a change in system for a few clubs, Arsenal particularly have adopted the wing back system and three centre halves recently, and I really like that system. Especially when you have players like Bash and O Connell capable of carrying the ball out and causing problems.
We could do with a player in the Dele mould perhaps, and some more pace to really push us forwards to get closer to their level.

But I like their manager too, seems an honest and fair guy.
