boro is 85 with 6 wins but a draw when they meet drops it by 2 points 84 and 83
then we will need just 8 points to be sure 2 wins 2 draws 3 losses
either way 3 wins and a draw puts us on 87 points
if luton beat boro we only 3 need wins as our gd is 20 better than luton

and 4 home games on the bounce after burnley against teams we havent lost to this season
looks promising

let's say we lost 2-0 at Burnley and Luton beat Boro 2-0. All of a sudden we're five points clear of Luton with a +10 goal difference. They will have five games left, we'll have six.

In that scenario, we're still looking pretty comfortable but will potentially be one loss from the gap being reduced to two points.

Agree a draw at Burnley would be fantastic. We're in an enviable position now where draws are good results for us.

If we draw every game from now on we finish on 83 points. One of Luton / Boro would need to take 16 points from their final six games to beat that.

If we are generous and give both Boro and Luton a 2pt average for their last 6 games they end up on 79 and 80 respectively.
It’s generous cos only one team avgs over 2pts a game and that is of course Burnley (we’re on 1.95) And they have to play each other.
We are on 76pts with 7 to go. We’ve found form, we’re playing with energy, we’ve got some real quality… we’ve got this!
