I still hate Reading, £8 to park. Told there were no buses, weren't allowed in hotel bar at the Mad Stad. So stood in rain ages, then found Holiday Inn + pub 15mins away. Passed by a bus (the only 1 we've seen all day). Got in pub to find Wolves 3-0.

Am I alone in thinking that Howard seem to improve dramatically after the goal? I wonder who will come in now that he's suspended for the next two matches?

A good performance from Killa and Morgs, and hopefully Jamie ward's injury isn't anything bad, although it might give Lupoli a start.

Just got in. Absolutely massive win today. No real need to comment much on game as everyone prob saw it, but a v professional performance. As one text to local radio here said, Reading lost to the team that wanted it more.

Interesting listening to Radio Berks. Callers split between those saying it was a much better performance from them and other saying they were rubbish and wouldn't even make the playoffs! All given up on auto, lots of stick given to Stephen Hunt, and Hahnemann for his wayward kicking. Coppell sounded v downbeat, said Reading were no good at doing what other teams did and throwing everything forward when needed. Some of their fans seem to want him out.

Fantastic celebrations at the end, worth going just for that! Looking at the reactions of the players, have rarely seem them so pumped up, we're on a roll now and just have to hope B/ham crack.

PS. Cisse had whiplash on his neck from fall, but apparently x-rays show he's ok. Haven't heard about Ward.

Oh, and Park and Ride worked great, £3.50 return bus fare and was on the M4 within about 10 mins of leaving the ground. :D

Fantastic win!

My heart was coming out of my chest after we scored until the final minute!

Brian Howard was a load of poo up until he scored and he did improve a hell of alot afterwards! Well played Brian Howard:D My fave player! *cough*

I couldnt agree more, its a long time since watching the blades has made me so nervous, I have had to drink excess quantities of alcohol to calm down, so much so I have been banished to the spare bedroom-who cares!!!!!:D

Yawn... only just woken up.

Reading bottled it big time yesterday and we, as a team, really wanted it more.

I shall add the MOTM poll :)

Went for Naysmith MOTM. Made the odd mistake but thought he was solid throughout.

UP THE BLADES!

I'm still buzzing from the victory!

no one deserved to win and after that performance we do not deserve to go up, even through the play-offs. although we were slighly better i thought a draw would have been a fair result

Support: SHIT! No noise whatsoever.

I can't believe im saying this, but Coppell out.

There were brief bursts today where we had SU on the back foot and under clear pressure only for play to break down due to sloppy/slack passing or simply by not playing pacey football. On occasions our own players were getting in each others way in an already congested goalmouth.

We look completely clueless with the ball often demonstrated by Bikey and Duberry's hoofs in the air when quite clearly a little bit of composure was needed.
There is no leadership at all - in fact you can't hear anyone shouting or trying to gee the team up at all. That's not a recipe for success in professional sports team.

we're a laughing stock and the whole lot of them are a disgrace to the shirt....look how much it meant to then at the final whistle compared to us

I thought we were pretty poor in the first half, more like Coventry where we got the ball and just hoofed it forward hopefully. Contrast that to Sheffield were they worked the ball from the back and if it was hoofed forward it found the target.

Sheff U were solid but unspectacular. Well-organised but limited.

Point one, SHEFFIELD UNITED ARE A GOOD TEAM, on form, this was their seventh win (and two draws) in 9 games and they recently beat both Cardiff and Birmingham and are now second.

Point 2 we played very well and were a little unlucky not to have scored, then Sheffield had one piece of jam and got the goal.

Halford was on fire today.

Sheff U on the other hand were equally poor and as for the dvision's form team, that tells you everything about this league.

Interesting.

Apparently Jamie Ward has damaged his "ankle bone" and will miss Monday's game.

A loss, but well done KB for bringing in Beattie II and Lupoli on loan or we'd have been in trouble. With 4 games in 10 days I think we'd have needed to rotate the team anyway, hopefully a fresh Lupoli will come in for Ward and do the business.

Only just sobering up from yesterday!
Can't choose a man of the match because they were all imense.
Support by the Blades fans was superb. Went mental when we scored and was hugging and dancing with complete strangers.
Shame about Wardy.
Thought we should have won the game more convincingly, had a good couple of one on ones in the last ten minutes.
Nobody but nobody is going to go to cardiff and reading and win like we've done. Still need to be aware of the scabs.

The Star have Monty down as MOTM. A toss-up between him, Killa and Morgs. Sky gave the placcy prize to Killa, but is that only because Killa is, well, ever such a lot more photogenic than Monty, who at times looks like a peeled horse?

I doubt it. If it were down to being photogenic, they wouldn't have repeatedly given us close ups of Morgan's, er, 'rugged' looks. That's 'rugged' as in 'like the Cairngorms', by the way.

Anybody that went to Reading via shreds tours yesterday "WATCH THE FURNITURE"
Shred was going banana's. Classic, if you were'nt on coach you won't have a clue what I'm on about.
