Any one ever wondered why if you put four pieces of toast in the toaster at the same time they never pop up together

It's because it depends on the amount of heat each piece is being exposed to as a result of their positioning within the toaster.

I bet Charlton's toaster doesn't have that issue.

If we were dependent on departures before making any more signings then we wouldn't have a team to start the season with. Because it will take a long time to move those players out. Surely even our board know that.

Pretty surprising how little activity there's been generally in the division.

I suppose Bolton remain hamstrung till they get their embargo lifted (& there's been talk of delays with that). But even mighty Charlton, after making a couple of decent signings (like us) have gone pretty quiet, & are even seemingly struggling to get their Big Fish signing over the line.

Peterboro have done some decent business, I suppose. And Millwall seemed to be waking from their slumbers over the last week or so. But apart from lower end sides unspectacularly rebuilding (Shrews, Fleetwood), it's all been pretty unremarkable so far.

No doubt Friday will be big though.

How many need to leave?
Diego and Freeman seem to be on their way out but if we are waiting for someone to snap the two big earners up- Coutts and Hammond then we can call it a day on our recruitment drive.

So by the sounds of it we've got a crap transfer/wage budget due to:

1. Sacking managers and paying them off.
2. Paying off players that the previous manager wanted and now the new manager doesn't want.
3. Paying compensation for a new manager.

And we wonder why we seem to get worse year on year? But don't worry we've got a new fall guy in the form of Chris Wilder to blame/sack at the end of next season.

Why are you putting toast in the toaster and not bread like everyone else?

Because it was French toast to start off with , due to the excitement of the footy in France . He then decided to have it the normal way of brown on both sides , and popped the slices back in the toaster . It was also a new Dualit toaster with settings 1 and 2 for one or both side toasting . The toaster was bought for her in doors as a Christmas present , with the colour of the toaster casing matching the kitchen units - sorted.:D

There's only one Fall Guy
