If he knows we aren't getting anyone then he should either say so or say nowt. As Blades fans we have been fed so much bs over the last few years it is bordering on cruelty. I look on the BBC Transfers page most days and I don't keep thinking oh that's a good signing I wish we had him. The only two being Alex Revell and Ricky Holmes (realistically never going to go for Ajose).

Not many league one transfers that have been good. The good players are holding out for the best deal and the longer teams like SUFC go without making numerous signings the bargaining power from the club dwindles.

This ties in with what I was told recently, CW spoken to Hammond and told him not to come back to BDTBL, don't turn up for training etc., a deal is being struck for both parties to walk away. I think this is will be the one to get done and dusted first, it all depends if KM has the appetite to work out deals with the rest.

You might be correct that we have paid over the odds but the amount you pay does not dictate when you pay it. Maybe fannying around might just cost us the signing of Mcfadzean if, indeed, that is who we are after. Cardiff can probably afford to pay more but wouldn't have had that option if we hadn't "all been on holiday". I just hope I am wrong.

Frustrating as it is, and I'm sick to death of my club making a feckin game mess of it every bloody year....folk are still entitled to a holiday.
Not many go without a holiday from July to the following June, and work all week including weekends.
Granted the life of a player is pretty easy....play/train for a couple of hours rest of the day your own.
But manager is different, and lucky to actually get a day off is the norm during busy weeks of transfers, scouting and games during mid week.

Saying that....I do wish they would get the chuff on with it so we can settle our heads on who are actually blades players and get behind them.

No, I mean identify a target, make a move for him and, if Wilder is playing hardball saying that we won't be held to ransome, just add a time limit whereby we will remove our interest in that player if he hasn't agreed by it. He did that with others so why wouldn't he do that with all? It does limit the time the agent has to 'hawk' his player to all and sundry. We then will limit the 'they offered more but I really want to play for you so how much can you go up by' scenario.

We won't lose McFadzean to another club, if it isn't done it will fail because the money side of things can't be negotiated. Its obvious he wants to come back but the club just have to meet or negotiate a deal.

If the papers are to believed we've no chance of getting Macfadzean as Cardiff, Wolves, Blackburn and Birmingham are all interested. As he's under contract MK are going to want a transfer fee and there is no way we can compete with championship clubs so he either stays where he is or goes elsewhere.

Just goes with what he said the other night.

He is able to bring in the bare minimum players he wants (3 x CB, 2 x Mid, 1 x Striker) and anything after that is dependant on players leaving.
