A United Reserves side are in action against Stocksbridge Park Steels at the Look Local Stadium on Monday night.
The Blades have named young midfielder James Ashmore, Egypt international Ahmed Fathi plus strikers Geoff Horsfield and Christian Nade in their starting line-up for Monday's pre-season friendly.
Experienced goalkeeper Ian Bennett and midfielder Nicky Law will also be able to get more match action under their belts.
United, who are set to field a relatively strong side, will look to follow on from last Tuesday's 4-1 win at Farsley Celtic - a match in which Nade, Luton Shelton, Lloyd Kerry and Aymen Tahar found the net.
Stocksbridge Park Steels will begin the 2007/08 season in the Unibond Premier Division.
Monday night's match kicks off at 7.30pm.
