Is that what he took from that? Easiest 3 points Southampton will pick up all season.

I can only assume he has taken up crack smoking as a New Year’s resolution if that - along with his team selection - is what he saw.

I noticed he singled out Peck and Arblaster as well but only for sympathy where as Brooks and Seriki get pelters at any given opportunity.

Sick of this club. Been home and away for 25 years, week in week out. Done 3 away this season, keeping my money in my own pocket for the foreseeable. Feel for those who travelled.

We had a bit of a pop at the end but not a reyt go I think chrissy can’t see the wood for the trees sometimes

League table looks awful on losses and conceded.

We've lost 15 games ffs, 4 more than bloody Pompey and Charlton! More than Oxford aswell.

We had that bright spell in November and December time when I returned to Sheffield for 5 weeks.

Clearly the rest of you who go week in week out can’t be trusted!

I’d certainly be reevaluating the transfer dealings now.

Two wins this week and I’d have been happy to go all out.

But now I’d focus on shifting those we don’t want who we can shift, and signing perms with a view to next season if the opportunity arises. Otherwise don’t throw good money after bad on vanity signings.

I’d probably be now thinking to see if I can usher Ings out the door and give Oné some first team minutes to increase his readiness for next season.

Cash in on Hamer and potentially Burrows too and have a decent look at RND in his proper position now he’s played some games.

Make the summer job less disruptive.

Cant you just move back for rest of the season? Surely its cheaper than bringing in expensive loans.

Im all seriousness though I agree with what you said, I mentioned it on another thread about season effectively being over, use this window with a view to summer and to try get our business done early so we are ready for next season to hit the ground running.

Expensive loans and vanity ones as you mentioned which is probsbly the same, are now a waste of good money that can go towards running of the club / scouting/ tapping players up who are out of contract next season (so doesnt effect summers budget).

Again try to move out all dross from summer, appreciate thats a lot of out goings in a short time, and thats if anyone wants them (seemingly no one does, apart from Zätterström).

I’m a Wilder fan, but I must’ve been watching a different game. Leggy isn’t the same as lazy or thick.
Keep Wilder but rebuild.

We’re in trouble now! Ipswich loss, Millwall loss, Oxford ,if they’re up for it, draw. Boro loss. Hmmm 🤔

Yeah but arblaster and Peck go in boozer celebrating when we beat pigs...culture carriers.

He publicly praised them at the weekend. Even when he was critical of them after the Cup game, he talked about how well they've done recently.

The narrative on here that Wilder hates those two is really weird.

The first half was utterly pathetic, in every sense.

We couldn't string two passes together, never mind anything that resembled a passage of play. It wasn't down to the players being leggy. Southampton should have scored at least 1 more, had it not been for pathetic finishing on their behalf.

2nd half was admittedly better, but our decision making in the final 3rd was atrocious, as it often has been for a while now with these players.

I understand that a few of the lads are playing through, or still coming back from injuries, but we also have a few (Campbell, Cannon, Chong and Burrows) who need a massive kick up the arse. It was like fielding half a team with them on the pitch. Hoever was dreadful as well but he is still settling in.

Seriously I have a love hate relationship with Wilder . Love the passion buy in but he frustrates the shit out of me and he is starting to sound like Donald Trump in some of his post match pressers . Just when are the blade taking over Greenland ?

It was really weird though to single out those two, who came on as sub, especially when one created one of the goals. When you consider how shite the likes of Chong and Mee were, to pick out those two was unjustified.

If Chris came knocking I’d be simply saying you aren’t having any money for loans, unless that is you offload so much of the dross we end up needing numbers.

You can however sign perms that would be part of the plan for next season.

Chris has got to read the room. The team has fallen short. We don’t have to find some futile chase. If they can capture their November form great, but we shouldn’t be paying 1-2m in wages to rest out that theory at the expense of the summer.

Talking sense as usual Stretchy 👍

We could (should) have been 3-0 down at HT but miraculously it was only 1 so we had a chance to get back in the game.

2nd half slightly better but created little but still had 2/3 good chances.

What does my nut in is we get a one on one but hit the keeper instead of rolling across for a player unmarked for a tap in.

Happened at least 5 or 6 times in the last few games.
