Bring Back Standing

It's a disgrace what clubs are charging - you would have thought the recession never happened. The Greedy Prem will soon be falling on it's arse.

I am looking forward to one of the big teams like Liverpool going into administration and the shock waves that will create.

If clubs has safe standing areas then it would be much more affordable.
I detest sitting at a game - always have done.
It's not any more comfortable, it's much colder in the winter and it has all the atmosphere of the moon.

Going to football these days is so over rated.
You get fired up all week in the belief that your team will perform, the game will be exciting and you will overcome the opposition to get max points - then reality hits and there's that sinking feeling as the ball spills out between the two teams as they concede possession with annoying regularity.

I imagine it's like getting all wound up cos your on a promise with the Missus and then getting the dreaded premo ejec before you've got anywhere near the penalty area (not talking from personal experience here I have to add - I know what you lot are like).

Probably won't do many away games this year sadly, mainly due to the price but also play Saturday mornings.

May make the trip to Barnsley and Donny if it's cheap but definitely been priced out of attending like I used to, pretty sad really.

pride park is in the middle of nowhere and a rite old hike to anything representing a pub.stay at home and watch it on the dab enjoying a crate of lager followed by a kebab and a good moan.28 quid can be much better used elsewhere than derby.fuk em

Unilkely, as it's not on tv. I suppose you can listen to Kieth's impartial commentry on Radio Sheff, but I'd sooner be there.

It has become more expensive over the past few years. As someone who works shifts, I work 4 on 4 off, 4 on 6 off alternately, and I get 6 holidays per year that I can take when I want. I used to try and get away matches in, but now, I make sure that my season ticket is the priority, as I have already paid for this.
If I miss an away match, it dosen't matter, because I haven't paid in advance.

Went to Middlesbrough, and I'll be at Leeds, Doncaster, Hull, Barnsley and Norwich upto the end of the year. Then, it looks like Cov, Watford and Scunthorpe in the latter half of the season. There's no wonder away attendances are falling, however, the ticket prices are outrageous. Take Boro last week - people simply wont pay £26 plus train/coach/car costs when they can go down the local and spend £20 on a few pints and watch it there.

the days for me have gone where i only missed 2 or 3 games a season! ill near enough always get a season ticket but i will only pick and choose a few away games from now on unless the pricing changes! went to hartlepool as it was only £15 and from the rest of the season am hoping to make leeds, donny and millwall and possibly a few others if theres a few offers on!

less fans going through the turnstyles so they put the prices up, taking advantage of the loyal ones and im not going to be in that category no more unless something changes!
