Brixworth Blades really sorry to hear this. Never met the chap, but feels like you have done when we spend so much time on this forum. RIP Lord Bos
R.I.P. Lord Bos of Eckington. I hope as you cast your spiritual eyes over this forum, and our team, that you remember us with as much fondness as we will always remember you. Sincere condolences to all your family and friends. Goodbye, true Blade.my dear friend and total lifelong Blade Lord Bos of Eckington. sadly passed away on Tuesday 15th evening . He had been fighting cancer for almost three years always with a smile and a wit as sharp as a Blade. The forum meant a massive amount to him during this time, and gave his much comfort and entertainment. I thank you all on his behalf for giving him somewhere to go and chat with fellow Blades in his darker quieter moments... thanks again.

Dont worry my friend.. Bos was never one to hold a grudge... !OMG. So sad to hear that . RIP.
I recall when he used to call Clough "Mr Clough" at first, it died out eventually.
We never know what people who post are living through.
Hope I never caused him lasting offence.
he was a Lord amongst men...? One of life's characters...!I always smiled to myself when I saw his name (lord bos of eckington) I actually imagined him as a lord
RIP, condolences to family and friends.....Roy
Thankyou SSM... I'm sure it is a GREAT comfort... this place was so important to him and good to know he was respected by his peers.Sad news. Enjoyed reading his insightful views and touches of humour. I hope that the respect in which he was held provides some small comfort to his family.
It is.. the home of Mercedes AMG Racing... and Blades in exile ( witness protection programme..!
That was him. Unlike most of us, never drawn in to petty squabbling. Always polite and friendly, as evidenced by the emotion on this thread.Dont worry my friend.. Bos was never one to hold a grudge... !
