That went downhill when Charlie Webster decided to fuck us off.Apparently the quality of the Charlie has gone right downhill since he left.

Not the answer, but to be honest I still wouldn't have minded seeing him coming off the bench last half hour v Barnsley...if anybody could have found holes in their defence it would have been him,a bit like Wigan away when we were 3 down.I was waiting for a punchline when I started reading, but to my horror proceeded to find you were serious.
We've missed him like a dose of the clap - not one iota. And results confirm it.
We have problems in midfield, but that fucking wage stealing fat lazy show pony isn't the answer to any of them.

Totally agree with regards him providing an impact. He's a real marmite player with supporters but personally I thought he had a lot to offer........unfortunately he's let himself, the club and the fans down once too often and for me the line has to be drawn somewhere. Enough is enough for me and he has to go. Hopefully one day he will look back and regret his actions but it should be far too late to save his United careerNot the answer, but to be honest I still wouldn't have minded seeing him coming off the bench last half hour v Barnsley...if anybody could have found holes in their defence it would have been him,a bit like Wigan away when we were 3 down.
Have you checked the results ? Baxter never gets his head up and looks for a pass ever ,his only good passes are played blind as a gamble ,when they come off he looks a genius ,when they don't we give away possession and he looks a twat.Whatever anybody says about Baxter, our team has been woefully short of the things he is good at.
All well and good dissing the man who is after all a human being who has made mistakes and is probably extremely low at present, do that if it makes you feel good by all means.
Our team lacks creativity, assists and even a couple of players who have the ability to look around when they have the ball at their feet; players who like to venture into the final third of the pitch even.
I'm glad you stopped there sitters, we all know you could've gone a lot further.Have you checked the results ? He has took the piss out of United on too many occasions to ever be welcome at the Lane for me.
Don't want to upset any other bleeder todayI'm glad you stopped there sitters, we all know you could've gone a lot further.![]()
Yes,not saying bring him back..I think he's had enough chances, but we needed someone to create chances or move the ball quicker on Saturday..one clear cut chance would have won the game...Wouldn't have minded Harris's delivery from the left aswell..all hypothetical ofcourse.Totally agree with regards him providing an impact. Don't worry, sun jihai, I mean Jose Baxter won't be reading this so he won't be upset.Don't want to upset any other bleeder today![]()

Harris and Campbell-Ryce would've made a difference on Saturday and this has fuck all to do with a player getting better when he leaves, just players I believe could've made a difference.Yes,not saying bring him back..I think he's had enough chances, but we needed someone to create chances or move the ball quicker on Saturday..one clear cut chance would have won the game...Wouldn't have minded Harris's delivery from the left aswell..all hypothetical ofcourse.
Not sure we can legally til the FA have made their final decision but that was according to The Stir the other week.
Although I am sure we can sack him since this is the second time Pablo has been caught.
I can see both sides - I agree with Woodwardfan to a certain extent, this a young man who obviously has problems and the club and the FA should work together to make sure he gets the best help, advice or rehabilitation possible.
However I also agree that at the end of his contract this summer, we should let him go and allow him to start afresh elsewhere.
I wish him luck and hope he can resurrect what was a promising career.
I was a big baxter fan, but i'm sorry to say we've looked better and more balanced without him. That's not the point I'm making in fact. He's not welcome back, but we need somebody who has his qualities, we are woefully short of creativity. That's all Baxter ever offerd and any team needs it, regardless of all the huffing and puffing, every team needs to create opportunities.
Yes.Reckon ?
Perhaps we still believe he has some sale value - is he out of contract this summer? Alternatively, could there be a way back for him next season if we're still in L1?
On a good day with those two we could have won. If they both had bad days we'd have lost.Harris and Campbell-Ryce would've made a difference on Saturday and this has fuck all to do with a player getting better when he leaves, just players I believe could've made a difference.
Off the bench though BB,with the game stretched as it was it could have been a good day.On a good day with those two we could have won. If they both had bad days we'd have lost.
I take your point but Harris is by far a better wingback than Done and JCR can beat a man whereas Basham couldn't apart from once, we'd have definitely caused them more problems with them two and that's what we needed to do, cause problems, we needed the win.On a good day with those two we could have won. If they both had bad days we'd have lost.
If we are paying this leech 5k a week ,say for 20 weeks while hes suspended ,that is costing us one hundred thousand pounds ,or a decent player who could have got us in the play offs. We should have sacked the fat bastard after the Bury match and used that money.

I often think we need some strength in the middle of the park. I can bench press 250 pounds, and I doubt any of our midfielders can. Are they missing me, in some way? What would you have found the grou
Despite your conviction and your 8 likes, you misunderstand the points I'm trying to make, so be it. Seems as though folk like sensationalist diatribe which they absorb and respond to far more easily than reasoned points.
I am only saying the" fat, lazy show pony's" main qualities are sadly lacking in the team mates he has left behind. That's all. We have nobody left who can create assists and reward runs into position by team-mates, apart from Reed and we don't play him anyway.![]()

You can't simply chisel off the bits you like. Overall, he was a costly liability. That's all we need to know about him.
The analysis of Reed is almost as laughable. Sorry fella.as subs.

Against Chesterfield we should have scored 6. There was no problem creating, because workrate got us into advanced positions. It's all about opinion. time will tell over Reed, not Baxter though.
In midfield Barnsley had Hammill and Isgrove probing all the time; they had Winnall and Fletcher mobile and willing up front. They had Hourihane pushing on when needed, quite prepared to get into the final third.
We had Basham, Coutts, Hammond, Done, Flynn for sarters and then Cuvelier and Woolford. Not a creative bone in their bodies where it matters in the final third. Coutts could do it but he can't for reasons beyond his control i.e. mobility.
Barnsley only needed to draw and we had nobody to open them up whilever Adams and Sharp were marked out of the game and unable to create something for themselves.
Don't agree , both teams were going for it ,we probed just as much if not more despite them having a better defence. Unfortunately our forwards had an off day. It's all about opinion. time will tell over Reed, not Baxter though.

Sharp had a mare ,no one likes to have a go at him but it happens he had a real stinker ,the ball was bouncing off him everytime he got a pass ,Adams movement is not there yet ,I think it will come. We are quite static up front which is why we play the ball into feet ,and our wide men aren't exactly lightening. We need some pace in the summer ,something for our midfielders to aim at. Don't agree about the long balls ,only Baptiste I recall ,but they were decent passes ,again into feet. Longs distribution was poor also but to be fair he doesn't have a lot to aim for. Our defence were good ,but they didn't have a great deal to deal with ,Barnsley weren't great but neither were we ,neither deserve to go up.Interesting comments Sitwell, I thought our defensive 3 backline was magnificent.
I thought the main difference was the midfield because our two front men got no service whatsoever with our lads resorting to long balls upfield to two small strikers which was a complete waste of time. They didn't need to play expansive football at all and I suppose the fact the game was even is testimony to their dominance considering the need for points.
Forwards often have an "off day" when defenders don't let them play. Same with midfielders.
Many teams looking for just a point would have out 10 men behind the ball. Barnsley have young, progressive managers and play more positively. All credit to them.

It often looked like they had an extra man in midfield to be fair, although we were supposed to have the numbers with the 3-5-2 as opposed to their 4-4-2,but their Full Backs Scowen and Williams were up and down and made up the numbers...all worked incredibly hard...they didn't make the most of it though when they hit us on the break fortunately...We were crying out for some creativity and pace...agree about the back 3,they played well along with Coutts for me..Flynn and Hammond struggled,we had poor service from the wide men,and Sharp and Adams couldn't hold the ball, link up or get in behind, but had poor service, and the lads off bench had no impact...end of the day,a fair result for me.Interesting comments Sitwell, I thought our defensive 3 backline was magnificent.
