An Evening With... Bob Booker

Following on from this weeks evening with Kozluk and Brown, the next "An evening with..." follows rather quickly. In association with SUSA and MatchDay Support, Bob Booker will take the stage in the Old Crown on Saturday 23rd April.

Tickets are priced at £10 each, all monies raised go towards giving kids who cannot normally watch or play football, a chance to do just that. See www.matchdaysupport.net for more information on the cause.

Doors will open at 7pm, and Bob will take to the stage at 8pm.

Give me a shout in this thread or via PM if anyone wants me to organise tickets, as usual we'll be there and will bring coverage of the evening for those who can't make it.

I'm up for it, but you'd probably guess that! I went to the last one at Firth Park and even though it might be exactly the same, how often do you get to meet your heroes, and for me, there's none bigger than him. I have to say he was brilliant that night and as you would expect he signed every photo, selfie's and loved every minute!

That was quality. Not exactly stage managed to perfection but sir Bob is a true cult hero. They don't really exist anymore.

I've said it before, if you've not been to one of these nights you really should try. Warts and all. A few good anacdotes and fills your heart with a bit of joy that there are people that our club has had a massive impact on that will stay with them forever.
