Probably not this season but, prior to this season we've only had two seasons in the last ten when we haven't had significant interest until very late in the season:

2014-15 League One. Final position 5th. Play-off Semi-Final losers

2013-14
League One. Final position 7th. Missed play-offs by 7 points. FA Cup Semi-Final losers (April 13).

2012-13 League One. Final position 5th. Play-off Semi-Final losers

2011-12 League One. Final position 3rd. Play-off Final losers. (May 26)

2010-11 Championship. Final position 23d. Relegated by goal difference (-10)

2009-10 Championship. Final position 8th. NO END-OF-SEASON DRAMAS!

2008-09 Championship. Final position 3rd. Play-off Final losers. (25th May)

2007-08 Championship. Final position 9th. NO END-OF-SEASON DRAMAS!

2006-07 Premiership. Final position 18th. Relegated on last day on GD (-2). (May 13)

2005-06 Championship. Final position 2nd. Promoted by 9 points.

.

We could still technically have made it into the playoffs on the last day of the season (and I think at about half time we were up into sixth).

We went 1-0 up at around the 20 minute mark and that briefly put us into 6th.

We weren't relegated by goal difference, we were relegated by miles... or six points if you prefer.

True, I was looking at the team directly above us, Preston, and forgot that 3 went down. Donnie did finish 6 points above us (2010-11)

We finished four points behind Watford who were in 6th place. We lost our final game at Southampton 2-3 in front of just under 32k. Saints finished 20th, just 2 points outside the relegation places. Saints manager at the time was Nigel Pearson. Relegated to the third tier that season were Leicester City (!) and Scunthorpe, whose manager was...Adkins. Funny old game.

Well that was enjoyable reading, anyone have the no for the Samaritans?

The biggest drama this season will be someone drowning in a sea of discarded shoes in the car park when Hammond gets permanently signed as club captain

We lost the play-off final against Burnley in 2009 on my Birthday.

My 18th Birthday present was a trip to Cardiff to watch Wolves do the same in 2003.

I fucking hate my life :(

At least only the Burnley one was actually on your birthday.

Palace, Wolves and Huddersfield were all on the 26th May.

We might have an end of season drama if next seasons kit is not up to scratch.
