Adkins or Warnock?

a) I'm not sure what you're getting at with your first comment

b) I know the transfer window was closed when Hulse got injured.
That doesn't stop certain critics (maybe not you) saying that Warnock should have had a Premiership quality replacement ready to come in.
Someone who would have been just as good as Hulse but willing to sit on the bench all season just on the off chance he got a game.

c) People can discuss a potential job offer but decide to stay where they are without being formally offered the job.
That concept is really beyond you?

Your wording.

Not me, correct. Was Beattie even available prior to Hulses injury? As I said, it's a new one on me.

The facts about the Portsmouth job are clearly beyond you. He claimed he was offered it. That wasn't the case. In any event, you said "he shouldn't have talked to Portsmouth before rejecting there offer?" How could he reject an offer if he hadn't talked to them?

I was giving some examples of what people say Warnock did wrong in the Premier League season.
E.g. "Why didn't he sign proven Premership players like Beattie?" "Why didn't he already have a replacement for Hulse?"
They're not my opinions. Beattie certainly wouldn't have signed for the "Championship" wages Warnock was allowed to offer.

Another thing people say is that "he shouldn't have talked to Portsmouth".
I personally don't have a problem with him talking to them about a job earning more money and in a higher division with a club with better resources.
Warnock says that he listened to what they had to say but decided to stay with United and get us promoted. Which he did.
It seems perfectly feasible to me that he discussed and rejected the chance of the job without being formally, officially offered it.

Not what he told McCabe. Mandaric stated categorically he was never offered the job. As has been said he leaked it to the press as well.

Again, the Beattie thing isn't something I've said and I had never heard it before.

Villa away, his me me me attitude, Shelton Fathi and Seck " for the future" selection against Wigan, for me enough to stop him ever coming back.
