I dislike it intensely. We play in R&W stripes - black shorts and not too bothered about socks - although white is my preference.

It should, IMHO be sacrosanct.

It is a genuine question as to whether we have made money - would we have sold more of R&W stripes.

Anyway, the "original" kit had blue shorts - not red, so the club bottled a proper celebration kit.

Rant over...............again.

Incidentally I bought him a mini Utd kit baby grow and the stripes are just the right size. Beautiful in its simplicity.

I've got a man city grandad and an evil uncle that supports Wendy so I had to get in early on staking his colours to the mast.
