Seems the daily mail has beat me to it.

Goodbye "hose A" and leave these white lines in the car park on your way out.

Sheffield United midfielder Jose Baxter will discover his fate at Wembley on Tuesday after failing a second drugs test.

Baxter, 24, has been suspended by his League One club since February after traces of a social drug, believed to be cocaine, were found in a sample.

He will be accompanied by a representative from players' union The PFA when he meets a panel from The Football Association to find out his final punishment.

Baxter was previously given a five-month ban last year, three of them suspended, after ecstasy was found in his system, though he always maintained his drink had been spiked.

As a second offence, Baxter could now be banned for two years though he is believed to be mounting a vigorous defence. His contract is up at Bramall Lane at the end of the season and the club will deliberate on his future after hearing the FA's verdict.

Baxter made his Everton debut at 16 but moved on to Tranmere and Oldham after leaving Goodison Park and joined United in 2013.

They were informed of Baxter's latest failed drugs test after they met Bury on February 16. He hasn't been allowed to play since while his case is being processed.

what an idiot , getting paid in a month what most people earn in a year for 3 hours work a week if they play 2 games , free health checks and free gym use, that would cost some 50 a month basic dietry assistance,
adulation , more free time than you can shake a stick at ,,all blown for what , a buzz

Id like to be sympathetic , but hes not worth the effort

Fairly telling that the club's not down as sending a rep with him, given Adkins went last time and gave a personal plea at the hearing.

Would that be the first time since he arrived at BDTBL that he could ever be accused of being 'vigorous'?

Serial waster - get rid.

"he is believed to be mounting a vigorous defence."

There's a joke in there somewhere Coco......

What's his defence? He thought it was MDMA?

Three hours work a week?

Why haven't we sacked him yet?

As soon as he failed the sample we should have booted him.
Probably best to let the contract run out

Yep, I know its more money, but just let the twat fade away

Or, have McCabe put his wage cheque in the centre circle at half-time on matchday, so we can have a word

No, probably best to have the B sample confirmed and the FA charge him so we can fuck him off for gross misconduct or breach of contract without having any possible comeback re unfair dismissal.

I think talking to your mate is ok but print or electronic reporting is out

We're waiting for his hearing to find him guilty.

Due process. It's civilised.

Chelsea sacked Mutu before his FA hearing.

Presumably there has been an a and b sample for it to get to hearing stage. Also presumably the fact he has fialed a drugs test puts him in breach of contract whatever the F.A. decide to do. We should have sacked the useless waste of space as soon as his b sample came back.

I know very little about the detail of the Mutu case but it was some time ago now and I suspect that if his B sample had come back negative he'd have had a good case against Chelsea. Fortunately for them, it didn't.

If you were accused of a crime and there was evidence against you, do you think you should be sacked from your job before a trial?

B sample establishes* presence of the drug - it does not establish wrongdoing.

*To the standard of proof required in this system.

What i don't understand is, where were all these slackers at Cheltenham?

They've let the club down. We can't even compete with the drunken thugs and morons of Northampton and MK bleeding Dons.
