Watch Hammond on the goal ,the conniving cowardly cunt ,he looks at the scorer running off to the back post ,jogs back in the middle and then looks for someone to blame. An utter wanker but we have a manager so weak and so far up his arse that he daren't say a word wrong about him , conniving cowardly cunt number 2. Get both these tossers out ,we don't do that at Sheffield Utd ,get out of our club.

Yes, but what about the things Hammond did that nobody saw? I hear they're good.

Nobody saw him run back to and mark up to prevent the goal ,maybe Adkins the arrogant will endeavour to tell us he did.

Or will he just find another Scot to sell instead ?

I'll be arrogant and copy my recent quotes :
Yes and he did. Oldham were really poor down that flank though.

I really like Done who has an edge to his game and that bit of pace and loads of energy. He has been a winger most of his career but really made his mark as a front striker where he did well for us. Positional play and teamwork don't seem to be his strengths, he's more of a lone ranger in my opinion. I'm nervous about his defensive disciplines as a wing back e.g. against Burton who had a field day down that side until things were changed.

I'd love him to earn himself a permanent place in the team but I don't think it'll be as wing back. I hope I'm wrong because I'm not sure he hits it off with Sharp up front.

Saville was excellent at Bramall Lane. Wallace will be missed also but Taylor is too good for this level, watch out wing backs. I suspect he'll play on the right.Let's hope he lacks match sharpness.

I think he's only featured in 4 games for Blackburn this season.

That 'three centre half' formation looks an absolute disaster. They seem to be asked to play higher up the pitch and yet don't possess the necessary pace to deal with the through ball.

It's as if our management and coaching team are just setting out on their coaching badges and using us to experiment and learn from their mistakes. It seems so bloody basic.

I'd say we are missing Collins but he's not played in an away game for a while and we've lost them all anyway.

However, if Collins had an issue with playing a high line with slow defenders then obviously he was correct. Millwall still possess a few proper footballers who know how to make a run and others who can play a simple through ball to them. Too easy for them first half on at least 4 occasions just on the above highlights.

The scorer was the right winger who came from deep totally unmarked. Cuvelier at least was in the frame when the ball crossed the line but I'd say the scorer is probably Done's responsibilty or maybe Flynn's secondary responsibility if he was as expected the left central midfielder, neither ran back with the runner. Hammond was trying to cover the cross but ended up in no-man's land. Baptiste had to cover his man who went towards the near post, thereby leaving a big space for the unmarked Taylor.

It's hard when the attack can be so quick and simple to turn everybody. Hard for Done to get back but Taylor got there of course.

Hammond was in position to get back he looks at the millwall player but can't be bothered to put the work in , then realizes he has been caught out and looks for others to blame ,I have stuck up for Hammond but is he better than Doyle or Monty ? No chance.

First half they cut us open with he same long through pass 4/5 times and it beat us every time. Had it not been for crap finishing and George long we old have been 4 down at half time!

Hammond, ffs what a pathetic 'attempt' at defending. Does he practise the glance-at-attacker-n-slow-down routine in training?
Jogging back like he doesn't give a toss. Can't use the excuse of being knackered either, ffs this was the 2nd minute not the 92nd. Useless.

Weren't Flynn and Hammond like messi and Ronaldo last week? With folk lauding that both should be signed in summer and were mutually masturbating furiously because we beat a wank Oldham side.

BIN THE LOT OF THE CUNTS IN THE SUMMER

Yes, imagine my surprise that Flynn reverts to type in a difficult away fixture.

Crewe home next week - that's more his speed.

Agreed. Of course the manager has the overall say of signings but signing Hammond makes no sense. He is not the age we should be targetting, command a decent wage, is on his way down and more than that he is simply crap. The board need to veto such signing -they have said they have made these type of expensive mistakes before (sanctioning some ridiculous Clough sigings). they have to put their foot down.

As for the highlights defence awful but no pressure on the ball by our hopless midfield. I would not care if we did not bring one player back from central defence/midfield.

I have seen nothing from any of the loanees and the likes of Basham, Flynn, Coutts, Baxter, Hammond, Woolford, Scougall etc need moving on or releasing in the summer.

It is frightening that Freeman, Coutts, BAsham, Scougall, McNulty, Woolford are still under contract for another year.

Hammond rightly criticised but I think Basham is another that gets away with a lot. I really do not see what some people see in him. He had a few decent games at centre back last season and maybe a few in mdifield (Barnsley away) but for most of his 2 seasons here (been a regular) I cannot see what he offers. Sure he might put a bit more effort in than Hammond and Coutts but he does not score goals, does not create goals, does not break things up and at the back is slow and does not command. Another than sums up United's side. Slow, little skill and no real bite.

A really poor player and another we should be looking to bin for me.

As for the rest of those I have mentioned we will do well to find anyone to take them off our hands. It shows that the likes of Harris, Freeman, McNulty and Wallace cannot even get in lower league one//league two sides regularly.

What you couldn't see from the angle of the camera.
For the goal it all started with Sammon, who wasn't strong enough and couldn't control the ball. Then Hammond was weak and didn't get the ball under control. At this point Done was trying to get width on the left but because of these two misconyrolled challenges he was suddenly isolated on half way when the through pass was made to the left of Millwall's break. Baptistery had to go to the man and there's Talylor left totally unmarked to slot.
Can't recall where Flynn was at this point. It was the power puff core of the midfield that allowed those 3-4 gilt edged chances 'Wall had in the first half. If not for George Long, we would have been 3 down after 30 mins.

Bobbar is not too strong a word for it.

The goal reflects how naive and lacking in desire we are. They clearly did their homework, knew we were playing a back three and put three up top to match them early on. One direct ball down the left channel stretched us and resulted in an easy finish.

After that all they needed to do was keep knocking direct balls over to one man running in behind. We're so easy to beat.

You are seeing different highlights to me, maybe on Bladesplayer. Hammond doesn't see the scorer on mine until he scores.

On the bright side, George made some great one-on-one saves and continues to improve as he is getting plenty of action!

Seriously though, the defending just on the 'highlights' is frightening, glad I was in Majorca!

Interesting way Long dealt with the one-on-ones, he just held his ground and stood fairly big, looked almost hesitant really. It worked, the forwards talked themselves out of the chance probably because he didn't commit himself. I'd like to think it was cool, calculated keeping but I'm not so sure actually.
