If hammond gets dropped,we play same formation v oldam, barring injuries/suspensions we keep a settled team,if we do a run like barnsley.
No,sorry mate no.

Are you on medication?

Say we miraculously put a string of wins and draws together, and the clubs above us suddenly sold all their players or had an injury list so collectively horrendous, you'd think a jumbo jet full of footballers had suddenly crashed.

Then, unbelievably, us with team full of non achievers and makeweights face three other teams who have the same ambition. They are playing good, because they are in the playoffs.

We play three games against two of them, the final one at Wembley. This, with the same set of shit players.

It's not gonna happen, is it?

If you've just watched what I've watched and with it, wasted another day (that I'll never get back) and around £150, what is there to discuss?

We were the crap side of average (for league 1). Mathematically possible yes, but it isn't going to fucking happen is it. It's still mathematically possible for half the fucking league so why would any mug pick us out of the crowd as anything special - FFS???

We're not good enough mate and we haven't been good enough for most of this season. That's been obvious to anyone with any sort of objective opinion on the game. Season is over, it has been for sometime but even more worrying for me (having just listened to Adkins post match summary) is that we probably face the prospect of more of the same next year.

Sorry, I forgot about all the youngsters coming through - fuck me!!!

Up the f**king Blades x

Hope WHF doesn't read that......

.....be hell of a shock

We are 12th place and tbh we deserve to be there.
Answer to your question no its not too late, but I have no belief in this squad to get us there.

Thankfully Adkins decided that the Play off push was a pointless exercise and the result yasterday has all but sealed it. He needs to continue his good work with the youngsters but pay attention that we don't get too close to 6th place.

Adkins will need the entire summer to rebuild and a wasted play off exercise will serve no purpose other than to waste a month which the players, adkins and his team could be using to rebuild this great club from the pitch up

We'd played well at Rochdale and Fleetwood, and beaten Oldham 3-0 but yesterday we were basically outplayed. They were just quicker to the ball all over the pitch most of the time.

Not checked, but our run in is 9 games and I think 4 will be against teams above us in the table. There's no way we're capable of putting together 6 or 7 or 8 wins. We weren't unlucky yesterday. Without Long it could have been 2 or 3 at least.

Although not quite as dismal (maybe bc the sun was out), it reminded me of Bury in that we got decent possession in the final third but nothing came of it. For instance Done would run down the left and then turn round and come back. We did get decent crosses in every now and then but only Billy's very good header was anything like a threat. I thought Flynn looked lively and wanted to move the ball quickly but he didn't have players on the same wavelength around him.

For 20-25 minutes second half we did have a real go, and there was lots of pressure, but it wasn't like a goal was inevitable, or even likely. After that we'd played ourselves out and 1-0 looked inevitable.

All season we've been saying Baxter is our only/main creative spark, and now he's gone it's flat and predictable. I imagine Millwall's team meeting was pretty simple: if we do A,B, and C they won't get anything - and we didn't.

Bloody hell you know things are bad when even WHF is negative!

I've seen no in depth analysis of how great Sammon was either.

The end of the world is nigh.

Is it too late for a Play Off Push?

Yes it is. - Wouldn't be if we could get some consistent results and go on a run like Barnsley.
But we have a team of fucktards and a delusional nay crazy manager so not a fucking Jack Palance mate.

Continue good work with the youngsters? He didn't play a single youngster yesterday unless you count Long and then Adams only came on for a few minutes at the end.

Has tha been hacked Will?

theoretically
6 points isn't insurmountable plus we could close 3 up on Barnsley as we play them

if we got in a decent interim man with a hint of a clue of what to do
the fat lady is still gargling before she belts one out

We went for this interim man when we got rid of Wilson and made a balls of it .

This time if we did get a Warnock type we could do it but have left it too late . It says a lot when we cannot make our minds up on the managers future and players commitment to him and the club.

McCabe and Co have a dilemma with Adkins , but showed with Clough , they don't take any bull shit or is it they like Adkins because he is the ultimate yes man . In saying that Reading keeps appearing in my mind.
