Me too1st shirt I ever bought this was. Long gone, and might be a tad tight now anyway.
Anybody got one of these, or know where to get one?

Bizarre B&W image on the website? You can do a DIY one 'at a cost'...
Shirt from here at $70 + shipping. http://admiral.axissoccer.com/usa_en/teamwear/jerseys/100-years-collection/sheffield-jersey
Then, I contacted Toffs.Com who said they would be happy to embroid the old sufc badge on.
Just not sure if its worth the money.

"Sheffield Jersey" - yanks just don't get soccer do they!
Doh!You customise it
Iam somewhat of a shirt collector, i started in 05, as you know its down to pure luck what you get. Ive just got hold of THAT Holland shirt from 1988, cost me a shitload too, but your late 70's ones are pretty much impossible to find, you need to ask older blades, thats your best bet, iam sure some have 1 in a box or in a wardrobe. They never end up on the internet, ive seen 1 or 2 early 80's ones on the internet but have been in a bit of a state so i didnt buy them, I have never seen the 83-86 away shirt for sale and ive seen 1 87-89 away shirt for sale, very faded and a bit of a mess. which was a real shame cos that 87-89 shirt is the only 1 iam after now in size large. Any mid 90's shirts onwards are pretty easy to find, check ebay, check https://www.vintagefootballshirts.com/teams/sheffield-united/80 and check https://www.classicfootballshirts.co.uk/other-uk-clubs/league-one/sheffield-united.html iam sure you will have all mid 90's and 00's shirts by the end of the year...its taken me while to get them all but every single one of mine are in immaculate condition, not a bobble in sight ! I think it was the 92/93 home shirt (laces) was the 1st that you could buy in the shop or suggs sports which had a sponsor, official umbro replica shirts before that came in the sealed poly bag with no sponsor attached so if its pre 1992, it will have been a player issued shirt.Good luck in your quest fellow blade UTBShameless asking for some help message (feel free mods to remove!)
Over the last few years for some unknown reason - I have been adding to my collection of SUFC shirts and me and my son are trying to get as many as we can.
There are some since replicas were made late 70's I doubt I will ever get (folks wont give them up if they have them) but basically I am trying to get hold of some I am missing - of course I will pay/make bids for any such shirts. Sure most people would stick on e bay and make as much as they can but if anyone can help me out, do personal message me on here. Would prefer Medium or Large
Ones I am after (know later ones easier to get hold of).....seems like I am missing a lot but got 36/60 I think so far. As I say any help either bulk buys

"Sheffield Jersey" - yanks just don't get soccer do they!"
bit harsh - I remember these retro Admiral® shirts which were publicised about 3 years ago, I thought that they'd given up on the idea? - British company isn't it ? I assumed the name wasn't the name of the team because it ISN'T an exact replica of the mid 1970s away shirt. For instance it was an 'airtex -ish' nylon and there were thin bands of red, white and black (our old colours) on collars and cuffs.
I'd like to see the results posted on here - are they doing it for free? and have you made sure they know that you retain the copyright if they choose to market your design?

Designing for free as far as i'm aware. They haven't said different. It's literally putting piping on collar and cuffs then removing the solid part at the top of the chevron style.

Don't care about copyright. I just want the god damn shirts
Read it againI am pretty sure that the top bit of that shirt was not solid black.

They look really good. Let me know prices when you have em. Cheers mattbianco1
I know its a shit photo but I don't reckon our yellow chevron shirt had yellow banding round the collar and cuffs, I think they were plain black, that said tho Matt, I'd be keen to know prices when you have themView attachment 16566
