on this forum I've seen shit strikers turn into linekar like front men

Midfielders turn into Gazza like in their form

And cunts like Collins turn into decent defenders cos 'they try'

So here we are a chance for those useless bastards to form a team....

I'll start

Number 5 - Neil Collins - one of worst centre halves I've ever seen - contract that paid handsomely - hope he's left some back

Marc McNulty - best striker in the league, superior to Sharp, would definitely be in the top 6 with him in the side, scoring for fun ect

Matt Hill because he had the odd decent game at CB so people thought he was half decent but when he played in his usual position of LB he was absolutely wank.

Manager: Nigel Clough

'But what about the cup runs and the..er, cup runs! And don't forget about the cup runs...'

Michael Doyle- Useless knob when he was here, now Captain Fantastic since he left. Give him the armband.
Not quite true. Became more popular as he slowly got worse. Primarily due to crying after Charlton and doing a funny walk at West Ham.

He was lorded by some by the time he left, by which time he could barely run.

Bizarre

The piss-taking at West Ham does bump up his legendary status though :)

In fairness to Doyle, he was the only player to show any bollocks at all during the Wier "experiment". Many better players hid during that dark period, but he kept showing for the ball and became a figure of hate for a time, which was very unfair. Baxter, Flynn, Murphy, Brandy, Flo, Taylor et all all bottled it and got far less stick.

Managed by Nigel Clough.. The man who would have sorted out our issues around centre back and centre forward last summer...

......despite palpably failing to do so during the previous 18 months when he was actually employed here..

Better Micky Adams because, well, uh, ah he was a blade.

Leon Brittan no.8,

Short arse do knowt for his half season at bdtbl

Next thing he's got a better pass ratio than xavi and iniesta

I defended Monty's honour in many an argument for a good decade!

Me too, and Christ didn't we miss him after his "replacement" bedded in. I definitely do also remember shaking my head in disbelief most weeks too, though.

Unlike Collins, I also remember wishing him well on here when he left !

Diego Girolamo. Technically, still with us so he might not qualify. But I've completely forgotten what he looks like so maybe there's a loophole we can squeeze him through ? Also crap.

Billy Sharp. He was that good back in the day we sold him for £50k and resigned him for £2M

Conor Sammon. He must be good cos he's from Derby County. Watch him bang the goals in cos all players called Conor are good eg coady.

Geoff Horseshit........................................................... your not that clever are you Warnock .

I've often thought that you can get dewey eyed about shit players once they've gone away. Much the same as that crazed hormonally wrecked ex who made your life hell eventually becomes a Goddess with the looks of that A-lister you really fancy and the bedroom skills of a porn star and you wonder why you split up.

Then there's the other lot who genuinely were shit for us and suddenly became world-beaters when they left. They're the real bastards :(

They're the real bastards :(

No, we should save that epithet for the likes Dan Burn who you know in your heart of hearts will be shit, but would have saved us if only he'd been allowed to follow our dreams and sign. At least; Akinbiyi, Horsfield, Hammond and the rest have had to good grace to burst our bubble.

Trianos Dellas

Scored a good goal at Portsmouth and did fuck all else in his time here.

Then leaves and becomes a European Champion.

Shit......that actually did happen

Absolutely ran the midfield against Coventry in the FA cup 1/4.

One of the best players I've seen in Blades shirt after the 71 squad.

Darius Henderson - Scored some goals once and is tall. Who cares if he spends most of the season injured or suspended.
