Before it gets crazy and people start saying "we're gonna get promoted now"

It was only Oldham, who are in the relegation zone.
i reckon we should try for playoffs n get as high up in the table as possible cos if we dont get into the playoffs which tbf we wont we could end up finishing in 8th or 9th or something

Though before today they'd only lost 2 away all season and conceded just 14 away. Walsall the only team in the division that had lost or conceded fewer away from home this season.

The same Oldham that had only lost 2 games away all season. I'd say we ought to celebrate this like we should any win, I'm going to anyway. No win is a given.

Listen, Oldham are a very good side. They had only lost two away all season. Yet we dispatched them 3-0.

We're one of the best sides in the country at the minute.

We could have done with Bradford not winning today

. Looking at the table, we're still 6 points off 6th place, and we need to go to Millwall next Saturday and win. If that happens, we'll be set up nicely against Crewe at home the following week. But we all know what happens in "easy" home games.

What a stupid post.

Are you on glue?
Oldham were fucking awful. They made us look a lot better than most teams have this season.
And they're not a very good side, they are 22nd in this league.
And your claim that we are one of the best sides in the country at the minute, well, our previous four league results were loss, loss, draw, loss. Hardly makes us among the best in the country. Look at the under-21s, our first team aren't even the best at Sheffield United right now.

A victory against anyone is welcome, but to suggest it makes us somehow amongst the best in the country is wildly generous to say the least.

I think you might have missed a vital aspect of his post. :)

You bit on that one Shoreham

Oldham were poor and we played well, particularly first half, which more or less sums up the game.

We really need to win the next three to have any prospect of putting pressure on that sixth place and I don't see that happening.

Game we had to win, take the three goals clean sheet and move on. There is little room for mistakes now 10 games left, one win in isolation won't get us into the top 6 and with 7/8 clubs scrapping for it we need a run of wins, that's the problem we struggle to achieve it. Nineteen points behind Burton Albion that I can't get my head around.

All the teams above us are shit, apart from Wigan, but for some reason they still haven't received the memo.

If you can't see how outstanding this team is at the minute then God help you.

I can't see where the next non win is coming from. It's going to be hard for anyone to stop us.

Yep.

Full-on Lickerton.

Full on simpleton.

Congratulations on your utter failure to detect what could only possibly be sarcasm.

Btw... we are one of the best sides in the country. There are thousands of football teams in the country and we're currently 55th.
