"Sheffield United Must have some team not to want to keep Doyle, Davies or Mcnulty there."

:(

I don't think we realised what we had in Doyle until he left. He is no world beater but he's a committed leader who gives his all every game. He breaks up play and was able to pick a pass (as long as it was no longer than 15 yards). He did a decent job shielding a frankly useless back line and now in his absence we are completely exposed. I think Adkins recognised this and tried to bring Hammond as a replacement but can anyone honestly say Hammond is anywhere near as good in that role as Doyle was. Having a player like that in the midfield allows you to be risky and play more attacking players. when we have played "riskier" midfield combinations this season we have so often conceded sloppy goals or no closed down long range efforts.

Couldn't understand pompey taking Freeman in the first place, always enjoy reading the updates, appreciate your time Roy.

Interesting to see that Wallace and Freeman are living down to expectations. Bye bye.

Wallace is largely constrained by the limitations of his own body. Freeman though hasn't had any injuries, and clearly has some talent in there, more than enough to impress at League 2 level, yet is failing to impress. What a waste.

Doyle was shit, and the fact he'd captain out shambles of a side now doesn't change that!

Some of us (not many) realised Doyle's attributes long ago, not just the last season when everybody seemed to think he had suddenly got better. I did say more than once we'd only miss him when he's gone.Ha hum, that's life

Pompey fans love McNulty when he scores and diss him when he doesn't. The whole point is that he CAN SCORE when he gets the chances. Fitting him into a team is the challenge, but so it is with Sharp.

No doubt but his replacements have been shitter.

You know how Eskimos have 25 words to describe snow, we need 25 granular definitions of shit to describe our players.

I'd like to add the first...

Barney.. Fuckin' hell, Sammon's barney. Or, i've just had a barney and I couldn't find any roll, so I used a sock....

So McNulty is scoring but a bit inconsistent, Freeman isn't putting any effort in, and Wallace is injured yet again.

I am shocked by what I'm reading, just shocked.

Let's recall them all quick! :)
