If there was a modicum of footballing expertise about Adkins, he would know that a bit of pressure would have Burton falling back on defence - Clough's teams are like that, we should know.

I'm actually pleased I went last night. I know that if I watch United for the rest of my life, I won't see a more pitiful performance.

Burton are at Crewe on Saturday. If Crewe had them watched last night, they'll be rubbing their hands.

The physio thing is a very lazy criticism that adds nothing to any debate and makes absolutely no sense.

it gave him a closer to the players , buddy buddy feel
lets fdo it for him hes one of us
cos lets face it , most footballers are as thick as,,fill in your own adjective

It's bears absolutely no relevance whatsoever to his career within management.
It's certainly of no relevance to his career here. Or his achievements at Southampton.

And this is relevant to his subsequent managerial career...how?

It was his in to the minds of the players
all managers have different ways of communicating to players
some as that father figure , some as tyrants some out of pure respect
he was the novelty physio who talked their language
now that wore off 5 years ago and hes not getting that in now
In fact hes obviously not getting anything across

How do you know this? It's not based in any fact. You've just used the fact that he was a physio and made the rest up to suit the bandwagon you r recently jumped on.

You're taking being full of shit to whole new levels lately.

I can only presume a lifetime of having your head in the clouds and being oblivious to our weaknesses is just too hard to turn your back on. You couldn't have been wrong, there must be some explanation.......

Oh I think you over estimate this team. There are plenty of games left to produce an even bigger embarrassment than anything we've seen before. We are due a genuine hammering

so you totally ignore the fact the article plays on the fact hes a player whispering former physio

which was what I put was his in to the players

We've established he was a former physio. We're all agreed on this fact.

What we haven't established, is what this has to do with anything?

I don't understand your second sentence. Maybe it's just me.

Played off the park in a 1-0 hammering from the team at the top of the league?

We were poor, they were decent. They controlled the second half.

Let's get it in perspective though. Hardly thrashed.

We were absolutely attrocious. Burton Albion were better than Sheffield United at Bramall Lane in every aspect of the game.

We are a squad full of twats

It was an absolute disgrace. Adkins could have come out before KO, put 11 cardboard cut outs on the pitch and let the wind blow them about for 90 minutes and it would have still been a better performance.
