What was Brayford doing for both the Rochdale goals yesterday?
(Highlights here for anyone brave enough to look http://www.skysports.com/watch/vide...ns/league-one/10184668/rochdale-2-0-sheff-utd )
For the first, he seems perfectly positioned to cut a simple ball down their wing, yet somehow the ball gets past him. From there Edgar charges in unnecessarily, McEveley gets caught flat-footed, and their striker finds the bottom corner.
For the second, Brayford is marking Holt when the corner comes in. However he makes no attempt to win the ball, Holt glides past him like he's not there and is able to fire an unstoppable shot past Long.
Far too often he is caught out and is responsible for us conceding. I'm at a loss to explain it. If we are going to stick with the 5-3-2 formation (a system that should suit his strengths) then I'd like to see Flynn given a go at RWB as he can't do any worse.
