I like many was "buzzing" on adkins appointment but been left so dissapointed, and although he working with another managers players that doesn't disguise bad tatics,subs at wrong positions/times & a eye for shite players (our bill aside )...........i read today that it could've been right man wrong time which im talking myself into believing & hoping hes not another weir/adams/wilson

I believe we need root and branch change right at the top if we are ever to arrest the decline.

Without that it hardly matters who the manager is I belive we are destined for League two within in the next three years if we carry on as we are.

If you sell your best players and are left with cheap shit, this is what you'll get.

Sharp, Brayford and Done can't do it alone. and those three alone are who I would keep (and bench) for next season.

Well true to form they always sell their best player but remember the club wanted them to stay but they couldn't hold them back once their head was turned by those pesky agents.
Not to worry the undisclosed fee will be put back into the squad.

Yep.Big player wages are the only thing left to cut. A couple of transfer fees will go some way to covering next years loss. We'll just have to wait until we get to the "next level" when the moneys all there and waiting .

Its not just crap players, its players with bad attitudes. They have developed an acceptance over the years that win lose or draw, they get paid.

Adkins has proven that he was the wrong manager in the summer. Ironically Clough was probably the right man.

The problem we have is that the club have promoted the fact that Clough spent too much and got it wrong. He probably got some of it wrong (not bringing in a Centre half or two and a central striker), but he got lots right for him. Adkins has worked with Clough's, wilson's, Weir's and Adam's players and done a pretty poor job of it.

Adkins has some great ideas, i'm sure, but he has so far got a lot wrong.
