Surely lessons must have been learnt since the begining of the season.wrong tactics for majority of games . No excitement. Nothing for the fans to cheer about in most games.boring football.
Other than the fans who can see all whats wrong with sheffield united.
WHY isnt this obvious to the higher ups at the blades WHY arent they experimenting changing styles of our play even with this lot of players we have .surely theres only room for improvement why is it whoever we play whether top or bottom of the league i for one am never confident we can win a game we always on a nerves edge.the players have no confidence which rubs on to fans i would like to hear team talks and whats happening in training . If they have any because whatever is happening they seem devoid of anything resembling entertainment

Suppose the problem is that if Adkins goes for it, & we see a repeat of Shrewsbury... well, he'd be a gonner, I'd imagine.

I hope he doesn't go back to the 442,and the goal shy Midfield of Coutts,Hammond,,Bash,Woolford...Vale will then block up our only avenue of penetration from the right hand side and we're reduced to Hoof...I hope that's not the case..don't mind the 442,but let's have more of a goal threat in the midfield and a supply to the strikers.

I don't give a fat fuck about entertainment.

I'd trade that - a game where we paly like cunts - if we win by one more goal than the opposition every week.

We just need a win and hopefully a reasonably early goal because the game where the fans patience finally boils over is just around the corner at present. A bit of entertainment and a quick tempo would be the icing on the cake....... Greedy git aren't I

I'll take anything better than the away game at this stage

I would like us to win every game we play
we know thats not going to happen
but a team that plays well together passes on the confidence to the supporters that we can win when they first come out onto the pitch.and pompey we play like you said nearly every week and look what the results of that are mediocre mid table rubbish

First game since October for me tomorrow. Only because someone's asked me if I wanted to go. Reluctantly and stupidly said yes but on the one condition we sat out of speaking range from the man in the technical area. :)

Your only going because your drooling at the thought of being able to rip them to shreds on here, tell us all "I told you so" and then suddenly become an expert again. Christ I hope we pull something out of the hat and smash them. Would have more chance of the prince being down at the lane than you on here on Saturday night

I've been critical in the past (rightly), and I'll be critical again if it's warranted. I'm not going to stop posting my opinions because people like you want to clap themselves to sleep and/or don't want to hear them. I don't know what's spurred on such a dig at a statement simply saying I'm going tomorrow. It appears you hold an unhealthy grudge.

Fancy a pint in the Standard?

If you weren't so engrossed in what you say rather than others views you would quickly realise that I can be as critical as the next man and far from being a clapper I tell it like I think it is. My dig is that you are very quick to critisize but vanish whenever praise is due. That's your downfall on here. You don't debate you tell...... And all coming from someone who goes to the odd home game, rarely (if any) away and never to the academy. Prove me wrong and give credit when it's due on here or better still I've a spare seat in the car for Rochdale. Let's have a sensible debate

You wouldn't say that if you had to watch them every week. Win by all means but there has to be a degree of entertainment for the paying customers.

Go back through my posts to when we've won matches. I've given the credit where it's due.

Did you, by any chance, go to the same school as Finlay?

Yeah like last Saturday when you were telling us all we need to give the kids a chance then promptly slagged off Reedy.
A bit of positivity as and when it's due goes a long way. Granted there's not much around at the moment which is why it stands out when people use it

The manager has to decide whether to play Reed and Calvert-Lewin in front of a nervous and possibly toxic home crowd.

Can he trust the fans to cut them a bit of slack or will he expect them to get on their backs at the slightest opportunity. In the context of the players' development in readiness for next season is this a big hurdle for them to overcome, or does he just play them in away games for a while?

What a state to be in. The lads are only 18 years old and trying to make their way in their careers.

I agree a win today just keeps our hopes of the playoffs going just hope theres abit of adventure in the team sometimes home games dont feel like home games the way we play the opposition get far to much possesion utb
