Still let's just sack him, because we're Sheffield United and that's what we do, it's worked the last 8 times, so 9th times a charm, eh?

And that's unfortunately where the problem with this view comes in. It's touted about every time there's a manager underperforming. Avoidance and learning, two entirely different entities and yet so often overlapped and confused. It's an easy trap to fall in to. The sooner we learn the difference between the two, the sooner we'll start to see a bit of progress.
