Despite how bad his record is I've always kept the faith and hoped he would finally get fit and stay fit becoming a regular star player for us. But if he's become injured again then I'm now resigned to it never happening at all. What a shame because he's a class act in terms of his ability.

I haven't been to away games recently, but Brayford's impressed me at home games. He's one of the few who breaks forward and when he's been defensively exposed it's usually in the final quarter when he's run his blood to water. After 6 months out I reckon he's doing well.
 
Cue someone asking where's the Murphy/Harry/Cup run/man u money gone.

Think it's a bit of both. Having suffered big injuries myself, it really takes a lot to get the confidence back in your body's ability to take a knock. Fact is that the body is a resilient thing. Cases like Kennedy and Geary are different as they're joints seem fooked, but Wallace seems to be a car crash of niggling injuries and surely sending him to a sports psychologist would help.

He's got between now and summer to sort himself...

Sad to say but I agree. By the summer I don't want any player that can be released, to still be at the club. It's not the incoming that's pissed me off this January, it's the lack of outgoings.

In the summer I don't want any excuse for us having to keep Collins. I want a Centre Half or 3 lined up now with deals all but done. If we have players taking up wages like Cuvelier and Wallace, it's wages which could be used to bring in a Collins replacement.

This summer can't have the same damp excuses as January and last summer.
 
I think Wallace has a contract Till 2017 :-(

Cunts like this need paying off as well as not renewing any and I mean any bodies contract in June
 
This mind of matter situation that may be the problem will soon be brought into focus if he cannot find another club, loses around £2k+ per week wages and has to stack shelves for a living !

Pretty much how I felt about it too. I accepted we wouldn't be bringing players in when McCabe said we had too big of a squad. There is still a glimmer of hope for the play-offs this season and I expect us to be within a chance right until the final game, however I've also kinda wrote this season off and expect the board to stick with Adkins and support him over the summer and next season.
 
Knee this time, he likes to spread the injuries around.

"Midfielder James Wallace, who suffered a knee problem during the 2-1 defeat at home to Southend on Tuesday night, will be out for two to three weeks".
 

I think its safe to say that James Wallace will probably be released at the end of his contract with us....... Or paid up in the summer if he has another year.

So what about Flo? Is he injured? I expect he too will also be released come the summer.
 
Maybe in the summer we'll look at Adkins in a different light. We all cast him as the Messiah figure last year and although he's not pulled up any trees and made some peculiar decisions. I think we'll start next season with more realistic expectations.

Is he out of contract, or will he be taking a significant chunk of the manager's budget for next season? Believe it or not he's one of our highest earners.

Seems to split opinion as to whether he signed a two or three year deal back in 2014. Either way, I can't see him being here at the start of next season as a fresh start is probably needed for both parties.
 
From the conflicting reports I can only assume it was a 2 year deal with the option of a third. I can't see any way that 3rd year would be exorcised.

It's a massive shame for him and also for us. Mind you, if he didn't have these injury problems we would've sold him last summer at the absolute latest. If we looked like going up we would've sold him in January last year.

Would've probably been a Premier League player.
