As a little diversion I just wondered whether anybody is planning on going down to watch this one at The Lane tomorrow afternoon?

It is a 1:00pm kick-off against a Huddersfield team who beat us 1-0 in the reverse leg but it promises to be a half decent game with a couple of first teamers involved including Bob Harris who continues his recovery from injury. It will also be interesting to see if Cuvelier plays again as he did last week or whether he is scheduled to leave the club tomorrow should there be any interest.

It will probably be quite a young affair really but still a game of football for minimal or no cost.

Im hoping to go, then get home and read about all our new signings

Will post the result, and team on here later.

can we park in the car park?

Should be a good test. Huddersfield are the top team around here in the U21s.

Really hope that means Flo is getting a chance in the first team rather than being let go.

Far too good a player to not get a sustained opportunity.

He's not shown it for us in 2 and a half years

His biscuit legs have put paid to that somewhat.

However, if he's fit and they're more ginger nut than Pink Panther Wafers these days, then let's not bin him before we've given him a go.

We can't give him a go as he's only managed about two U21 games this season

Cuvelier was poor for us so was loaned out and then got injured.

Players can be shit when they first sign and turn their form around. Murphy was absolutely awful in his early days at the lane and many wanted us to get any cash we could for him. He then found his feet and... well... was sold as quickly as an offer came in.

Let's at least build Flo's value up a bit before we inevitably drop our knickers at the first offer of a Tia Maria and Coke.

Nobody is going to bid for him - it's about getting the wage bill down.

So have Wallace, Diego and Kennedy. Shall we put up ticket prices so we can afford to keep paying them?

Eh? I point out that I rate one player who has been injured for months on end and think he should be given a chance (at least off the sub's bench and going on the manager's recent praise), and you extrapolate that to me thinking any player with a history of injuries should be played.

Right, I rate Cuvelier and would like him to play. You don't rate him and hope he's let go. I think that covers it? In all likelihood you'll be happier with the end result.

He should be given a chance. We paid good money for him and he has ability. Especially when you compare him to the likes of Woolford and Basham ffs.

Adkins being there does worry me a bit with regards to any transfer action or lack of. But I do understand a lot of it is done by the people upstairs nowadays.

Infact no scrap that, that IS what worries me!
