Mcnulty this and mcnulty that from our MOTD pundits, and here we are thinking to ourselves why is he not at our club if he's causing a PL team like Bournemouth problems? It's an absolute ludicrous decision to let your young top scorer of last season go out on loan to a lower league side (I bet Pompey are thinking that the same).

It's decisions like this that makes me think twice about Curly Watts as our manager, because it doesn't take a bleeding brain surgeon to realise that Mcnulty is a great option in League 1, but our manager lets him go.

Well done Curly, I bet well never see Mcnulty in a blades shirt again...

He's a fucking wanker who was more of a hindrance to our team by getting pissed every weekend than a help. Stop going on about him. If he knuckles down and gets rid of his 'habits' he might still have a future here.

He's too similar to Sharp and Sharp is better.

He's only scored 1 in 2 at league 2 level, is he really that special? No, no he isn't. He can do it once every few weeks then he goes missing, think Southampton at home... time to gain some consistency and prove himself week in week out. Then maybe we'll see. He also has to stop being a full weight, as a side note.

Does that apply to, hmm......................

Chedwyn Evans
Gary Madine
Fair enough.

Within reason then. If he likes a drink then as long as he doesn't drag the club through the mud, leave him to it.

"If" he does have this ego problem that has been talked about, then I really don't care how he is doing away from us. I will stand behind United if they want to get rid of any bad characters!

What! even for the other games he did not play in? My he has progressed.

He wouldn't be the first player to be driven out of a club because the deprived boo boy section disagreed with a hedonistic lifestyle.

Congratulations, your idiocy is part of the problem facing this football club.

Sign more alcoholic footballers at once Blades!

It's been a while since a lets all have a "wank over Mcnulty thread"...

When will people realise being at a football club is not all about being a good footballer...He's a jumped up trouble making piss artist, who although he can score a few, isn't as good as what we already have at the club.

He was playing against a Bournemouth team that made 10(?) changes?!?! For club that the BBC can't stop spunking their load over!

No big deal, just another cunt footballer living the billy big bollox lifestyle.

There are 2 parts to this tale.

The one part is the disruptive influence (assuming this is in fact true) that has led to the lads loan departure for the rest of the season.

The other part is the fact the boy can play a bit !!

For what its worth, I would much rather have a motivated McNulty in the set up pushing Done Sharp and Adams for a shirt than not.

UTB

And that could well be the issue ... priorities (his) and all that

He was our leading scorer last season, who gives a fuck what he's like off the pitch?

With 13 goals in all competitions. Porter was the top league scorer the year before 7 and kitson the year before with 11. Jesus it's not been hard to be our top scorer over the past few years. Those sort of figures are what id expect from a midfielder if we're serious promotion contenders. Players like these are the reason why we're still in league one.

My pecking order of strikers is:

Sharp
Done
Addams
McNulty
Salmon
Higden

So where does that leave things?
Salmon and higopotomous would go before mcnulty, but do we need a fourth choice striker?

If we play 2 up front and get any injuries or sales - such as Adams going, then we'll need him. If we are more cautious and don't get any injuries or last minute sales (but billy already has a knock) then we don't.

With a much touted bloated squad then I guess he was a luxury. But annoying to think that we are still paying the potomous to sit around doing fuck all.

He was our leading scorer last season, who gives a fuck what he's like off the pitch?

Morale, team spirit, commitment, linking play, defending from the front, holding the ball - none of these matter bc he scores every now and then?

Compare and contrast Billy and McNulty.

Leagues apart.

Bournemouth made 10 changes so McNulty didnt score and didnt contribute enough for his team to beat Bournemouth reserves!

To be fair to the lad I listened to the match commentary on R5 and his name was mentioned every 2 minutes, was very active with the ball.

Didn't change my view on him but as the debate on another thread about what type of players we should be taking a punt on as dannysufc points out - He's only scored 1 in 2 at league 2 level, is he really that special?

We'd be suggesting him as someone to sign?

Funny old game init?

We need a striker to improve our chances of going up and McNulty isnt one

No more McCuntly and his merry band of fuckwits gracing our city

Shame because he's a "proven" dickhead in this division.
