In the coca cola championship these days you need to spend millions and millions just to compete. KM won't be happy with that, not one bit! What will he do if we somehow accidentally stumble up through the play-offs?

We aren't willing to spend the money to get out of this league. How do we hope to compete in the next?

It's a thread that needs to be had. If we get up.

What will happen? The squad is going to need about £20m spending on it if we hope to achieve mid table.

I can't believe for one minute the owners don't want to go up. The gates will be higher for one, the money they get for going up for two and the t.v money for three, need I go on..............

Onwards and upwards

How about we worry about that IF we go up? I really don't believe it's a serious question if you think it through - as much as the club doesn't spend as much we'd like them too the reality is they spend far more than most in this division and have continued to invest in players and wages.

F*ck me.

This utterly ludicrous question again?

You've got to be some new level of utterly stupid to think anyone to do with the club actually wants to be in this league.

Some deeply, low down, utterly, ridiculously, moronicly, pathetically, pig shit stupid logic would suggest it suits ANYONE to stick in this shit league.

And that's me being diplomatic.

Hang on a minute, I think there is a big chance they don't want to go up, simply because we can't afford to go up. The wage bill would increase massively, we would need to spend a few million to stay there and what would the crowds go up by? 2k ? This clubs outgoing would comfortably out weigh the extra incoming. I am not sure it's a case of not wanting to go it's the fact we can't afford to spend the money to get up and stay up.

No. There isn't.

So what you are saying then is he actually is THAT shit at running a football club?

It's got to be one or the other.

I've read your post and I'm interested in hearing more about this. Would you be able to update me with any further developments tomorrow?

Victoria Sponge at 2pm tomrorow.

It'll cost you a tenner, but if you don't like it he'll buy it back for a quid.

The standard of this forum gets lower by the week.
The OP is clearly on the wind up.

His logic is its better to be in the non league because player wages would be lower.

So why would McCabe employ the highest rated manager in league 1?
And why bring in a tried and tested goal machine for league 1?
Why would he bring in expensive rated players on loan from the divisions above?

Think about it....

It doesn't matter to him , the extraction of money from the club is all that matters.
The whole policy is a risk aversion policy.
I don't want to put anymore money into the club and I want my money back asap.

Extraction of money is going well while we're in league one, isn't it Davey?

He's never made more bunce!

If Kev Mac thinks about selling his half for a quid, I'm thinking about having a punt and then I can retire off this money extraction scheme thingy.
