How do we protest against the current regime?

Eh? Is this a piss take? Tell me you are joking. Please.

Not at all, if it's a protest, it has to be a protest against something in particular with a hope that that something is changed.

If it's McCabe out, or Adkins out then fair enough, I'm just trying to find out what he hopes to achieve from this protest. Letting the Board know that 'we're no pushovers' doesn't really achieve anything does it.

You know as well as anyone that there is not one singular thing that can change which would make everything right.

Neil Warnock is a "Neil Warnock Man".

Aye, I remember being in short trousers stood in Frecheville in 1793 as the Norwich coaches came past. All them green and yellow and black and white scarves being waved.

T'was magic o' cup, Ill tell thee.

Colin makes Geoff Boycott look like a rank amateur when it comes to Professional Yorkshiremen.

He supports Warnock, first second and third with the Blades somewhat trailing in the distance.

If Evans had 'kept his sausage dry' we would have never seen him in L1. We'd have cashed in and cut our losses when Ipswich were sniffing.
That is a FACT.

So we'd have had Cresswell and Porter up top, would that have got us promotion or even top 6? Not entirely sure...

It's not a fact because it didn't happen. It's not an unreasonable view but it's not a FACT.

FACT.

A football man, a Sheffield United man, fair enough, Neil Warnock. There you go.

I knew it, I just knew it!

Well done Danny, you got me there, this is a piss take after all and I fell for it, hook, line and sinker......:)

Then may I suggest people hold onto their hard-earned and put-to-one-side readies before blindly splashing out on a Season Ticket, at least until the transfer window shuts. It may help in two ways:

1. The fans down't sit down to watch Sheffield United being turned over by freshly-promoted sides or sides with vastly lower income streams in ninety minutes of awful, embarrassing football. The absence of key playrs transferred out within two weeks of the season starting is the marker here.
2. The board realise that fan patience and following is dwindling, and results and support are mutually self generating. It starts with retaining good players, it manifests itself into good results and league positions and it transports itself into an increasing income stream. But I don't need to tell them that. We had 30 odd thousand at the Lane vs Liverpool for the first game uin the PL.

Someone, collectively or otherwise, has to do something. And it has to be passive.

Which is why season ticket offers are available at reduced prices well before signings start to be made and contracts renewed.

The club might have as much a clue as Barney does on , well most things, when it comes to running a succesful on the pitch football club but they've been pretty adept at getting our money out of us over the years, due to people's known desire to watch us.

Five years on and crowds have held up despite all the weeping and a wailing and gnashing of teeth. I think this season things may change even without a boycott or demonstration as people simply walk quietly away fed up, without the need for histrionics either in public or on a forum.

He's great on TalkSport, " do yer know Alan, when I"

Irrespective of what's being discussed it's always about him. If I didn't know Brian the Blade, NW would be first choice for who it could be.

Yeah. It's the fans fault.

I never said that, I was saying there is many factors in our disappointing performances. Transfer strategy us 1 because we needed some commanding centre back before adkins was appointed & we waited til we lost 4-0 to Gillingham dud they finally do something getting 1 in in loan & I think we should have some of the blame as In hindsight I think a 3rd clough wouldve probably still been top 6 but possibly a better start of season due to stability

when I look back my first season we were promoted to the top league around 61 then stayed 7 years got relegated came up and had another 4 years there, then went 15 seasons out of it, back for 4 and one since
so in my 55 years of watching us only had 16 seasons in the top flight , 4 of those turned out to be relegation years another 7 we finished in the bottom 8
so in 55 years weve made an impression in the middle bit of the top league 5 times, best being 74 before the big slump

how does that make us big

It doesn't. We get big crowds, we have a good stadium, sited in a large city, and have a some fans that think we are a big club. Since 1925 we have won sweet fuck all. Oh sorry I forgot the 4th Division title - we are massive.

Let's get to the car park fully naked, shoes in one hand, petrol bombs in the other and demand answers about being 1 pt off the play offs and losing once in 9 games.

D W W W L D W D D

Maybe we could demand more losses and it would as much needed credibility to any protest. o_O
I suppose that 6 points from the last 5 is slightly better than relegation form - well done to the blades - hurray

Sorry but this is 9 pages of kids in the playground type stuff. We stopped mattering when we stopped being the clubs biggest revenue stream. Protest or dont protest but all that happens on here is procrastination. "How shall we protest"? For fucks sake grow up. Supporting Sheffield United is shit. We dont win anything and even when we come into money we find new and amazing ways of getting rid of it.

Go down the car park and boo at things. That should solve the issue.

What a bunch of old bollocks. You sit on your arse and do nothing about it then. The rest of us that actually care about this sorry state of affairs will do what we can to change it. If you want to lie down and roll over, that's up to you. I don't because I happen to give a fuck about the club.

So what are "the rest of us" going to do? Todgers out at half time? Stick a womble on our head in the car park? Dirty protest in the bogs?

There couldnt be a bigger insult to a person than thinking they needed you to represent them. I'd want to be put out of my misery way before that day came around.

I care, i just realise where i stand in the grand scheme of things.

Big of the old negatives slippin in there BTL, too much vino or sun?

In league one with Ched Evans up top, Kevin McDonald, Lee Williamson and Stephen Quinn pulling the strings & Harry Maguire and Matt Lowton in defence I think I could have achieved that

Exactly, Wilson failed miserably.

Where have you got that from? Where have I said I needed to represent anyone?

You're letting your irrational and bizarre obsession for personal insults obscure all sense of reality. Which is contributing to nonsense like the post above.

My advice would be to have a read of the post and reply to that, as opposed to looking at the poster and attempting to point score. It's boring, been done many a time and indicative of someone desperately in need of a top up in clique credibility.

Without the cringey shoes off business?

Is the only way to do it to not get a season ticket next year? This dual ownership is even worse than having just McCabe because at least then we knew who was accountable, now we haven't got a clue...

We're happy with a point at Blackpool in league one. If not now when do we start letting the board know in no uncertain terms this isn't good enough?

They're full of excuses, full of promises, but not much that comes to fruition.

If you're willing to spend you find a way to do it. If you aren't you find excuses. It's a shame that our position is so easy to categorise.

I've never been more fed up, we aren't going anywhere and the clueless cunts on the board aren't in a rush to sort that out. I'm not even asking for them to pump millions in, just actually get someone on the board who knows football and can change our approach. We are the most unprofessional side in the whole football league. Its embarrassing.
danny do you have anything better to do than protest against the regime when your not happy about it cos thats all most of us ever see you do

Just that if he really is that cheap, it sounds like a real bargain and on the basis of what I've seen of him it seems foolish not to snap him up but maybe NA disagrees. Surely it can't be because we can't afford him.
If NA disagrees I'd love to know his reasons why. I admit it's not cast iron proof that he's going for 200k but that's all I have to go on at the minute, we'll soon find out either way because he's definitely leaving.

We have the money, it's all about whether we spend any of it or not, only time will tell.

I really am hoping we get a couple of good additions, that will be the difference this season as to whether we achieve what we apparently set out to do or not, here's hoping, mate.

You're at it again. Lecturing me on what I am doing. I'm not point scoring and I don't care what anyone else thinks. You are getting my personal view of your post. I think you are a tedious poster and wish you were banned before you become the ruination of this place.

Oh and your dishing out advice. You have been here 5 minutes (though it seems an eternity) and you have posted in excess of 3000 times saying the same thing every time.

I disagree with a lot of what is posted. I argue with many people but there is only one poster I think this site would be better off without and that is you.

It's not NA... Put it that way.
