I laughed when I saw the quote "six figure bids".....that could be anything from 100,000 to 999,999 and is more than likely nearer the bottom end of that scale being United.

What's the point in making statements like that? If we've bid 100k for a player with an asking value of 750k then it's not a proper bid is it!
