The last minute, Brayford hits the ball hard at the Bradford player and it goes out for a throw in. The ref gives it to Bradford. Was this the worst decision by a ref at Bramall Lane this season?

I think not sending McEveley off against Cov was one of the worst I've seen for a long time

Or how about not sending the Worcester defender off for denying a goal scoring opportunity when the ref awarded us a penalty for our first goal?

Agree with this. As clear a sending off as I've seen, all the ingredients for a straight red: late, high and dangerous. He was a lucky boy (although do agree, we do deserve some luck with the decisions that have gone against us).

Considering it meant very little, it was pretty fucking dire.

The McEveley sending off, among others, is subject to interpretation. The one this afternoon was just plain wrong.

We had a theory that he knew he was going to blow for full time and also knew that United's players would waste 30 seconds taking it. So he gave it them to get it over with quicker!

There was another corker in the first half when Coutts was down with a head injury and the ball was out of play. He let them take the throw in only to stop play after two seconds to allow treatment for Coutts. Then restarted with a drop ball.

Not pulling up Edgar for handball is up there. Looked nailed on from my Kop vantage point. We've been due a few decisions and they seem to be going our way this month so I'm not complaining.

If he was still under contract it wasn't his decision, it was the boards decision. Yet again

Nonsense, Jamie's a wonderful man and if a wonderful man wants to leave the club it is your duty to grant him his wish.

was murphys decision
just saying
How can that be when we held his contract?

You might agree with the logic behind the decision, but let's not pretend that the club had no choice. It's arguing points like this that reduces the validity of your other points.

Just saying:)

Other points?

Allowing barney back on this forum, and still winding people up.

Its a fair bet that every footballer thats ever been sold had a contract
now did they move then

when the boots on the other foot
how did we entice footbañllers with contracts , ie when we bought Murphy
surely his club held his contract

if a footballer wants to improve his status, in the end he now holds all the aces
clubs used to hold them but not now

It could come as a shock...

But sacking clough (as much as I cheered) might have been a bad move, maybe butler was a bad influence, maybe Collins wasn't worth a shirt, dunno...

I did cartwheels when he went and and Adkins came, but Nigel 2 is relying on old boys like Nigel 1 did.....

I'm confused, and, of course, very, very....drunk

Not signing two centre halves leaving us with the task of scoring 2/3 goals a game to even think about getting a point although I think it has been mentioned elsewhere before, sure I've read it.

Once or twice, mate. Once or twice! You must like reading your own posts, mate because that's where you'll have read it :)
