Pyro payback

Having stood next to a guy away at Barnsley who ended up with one burning a hole through the hood of his coat while stood next to his to small children ,I can assure you they are not. What possesses people to want to take them to games and throw dangerous weapons into their own fans is beyond me ,utter wankers who should be banned for life or given 5 minutes with all the lads who were around the bloke at Barnsley.
But, aren't the ones at the lane smoke ones?

Do smoke bombs burn? Honestly no idea not looked into it. The ones at Barnsley were smoke bombs and all I've seen last few years have been smoke bombs. Not seen any flares. I go away regularly but admittedly not all matches. Not seen any flares like the ones from the early 90s. No idea why people throw them though if you want to bring them in set them off and deal with them yourself. I was stood at the back at Barnsley and saw some being launched and thought wtf. Even if they don't burn they seem to be like a big can so will fucking hurt if they hit you! Think people set them going then panic.

Chffing eck, if Woolhouse can regularly pop back for home games with Interpol on his tail, then I'm sure there's plenty of ways to get round these banning orders - Ginger Tam O Shanter 'See You Jimmy' wig and sporran should suffice!

With that outfit you'd be announced to the crowd by Gary Sinclair as our new signing from Derby!

Pretty much though I think the banning order is done by the police aswell so there are fines and prison terms imposed if you get caught

Entering the away end in the company of a " character" who recently left us an officer of the law came over, referred to him name and asked him if he wasn't banned. got the reply "well what ya gonna do" answer, walked off shaking his head.

Anyone responsible for launching anything into their own fans, as at Barnsley, deserves to be banned. Total fuck wits. I'd love to see the next culprit get a good kicking.

Anything else though and a ban seems unnecessary. But we all know how much our family club likes to please the authorities.

I know someone who got a two year banning order about a decade ago, he simply shaved his head grew a goatee and paid on the day in another part of the ground, he didn't miss a match all through his "two year ban"
Bet he kept his newly shaven head down though and did not commit offences during those two years at least.
Tell me did his friends go with him in the other part of the ground?

I wish the club would make as strong a statement (deeds not words) in the transfer window and get a f***ing centre half and target man sorted. Nowt like getting your priorities reet!

Fully support the crackdown on pyro. It looks good from afar but at the Tottenham game last year when the smoke bomb went off, I was stood right next to it and it gave me a flare up of asthma with moderate symptoms for a good week afterwards. I didn't really have the choice to avoid it either.

So what would the punishment be for giving someone a good kicking. Just saying

I know someone quite well who has just got a 6yr banning order. If he is caught within a 2 mile radius of the ground on matchday he could get a prison sentence. The problem is he lives less than a mile away.
