I was sat in the BLUT and could clearly hear the Villa goalie shouting at his defenders throughout the first half, so to be fair the atmosphere from both sets of fans was pretty poor in the first half. I actually thought we did pretty well in the first half. We dominated possession and played some lovely stuff, getting in behind them several times. I just thought we needed to have the ball drop to one of our players in the box.

I think you should stop marking Henderson as he seems to have very little to do these days.

I felt Mcginn was there best player by some distance.
Grealish has got something - somewhere! we did seem to panic a bit when he was on the ball - so did i when he was near the penalty area cos' i thought he would fall over and con a penalty from the god awful VAR.

True about Hendo how can you mark him when he is a spectator most of the game?
I thought McGinn was as bad as Grealish for diving and cheating but Grealish is always in the ref's ear too, shame really the lad has bags of talent but a shit attitude. He reminds me of a ladyboy Ronaldo wannbee always looking for free kicks and goes down faster than a £5 whore. If he played football and cut out the cheating that he doesn't need to do he would be some player. Wasn't a very good day for him yesterday he was outplayed by our so called cloggers I doubt he would get into a Chris Wilder team

Good detailed report DB I can tell you put a lot of effort into your work , would agree McGoldrick & Norwood in my view would haven’t a point more , important win after a scrappy first & noticeable we upped the tempo considerably & as such got our just desserts.

Might be wrong but I thlink our las pen was Sharp at Norwich ?

We moved the ball a lot quicker 2nd half yesterday than Newcastle game & it made a hell of a lot more impact on the game

Great report as usual Deadbat. I'm with you that VAR is totally crap and ruining the game as EVERY time we score now I hesitate to celebrate thinking there's going to be a VAR.
Also agree about the ref who was very inconsistent and weak - the diving by Grealish can only be stopped by strong refs - maybe there should be a VAR on ALL of his dives and bookings given to him !!
