still look crap at the back. bromby was awful, still unsure of killa and naysmith, best performance ive seen from him.

Gillespie was poor again and i honestly thought we looked as we was going backwards in performances.


The ref was awful today but we fought back and got the points. BT played well and stead looked well when he arrived.

How did there man not get sent off for that pen? he was the last defender? is it me or have the rules changed?

I agree with you there Keenzy. Apart from the Naysmith bit. I thought he looked good again today.

I thought Bromby was the weak link today. We was out of position way too much and it cost us for their goal.

I thought Bromby was the weak link today.

That is true- Bromby is the weak link... He has been shocking all season. I dont know whether his confidence has gone but he just seems so nervous and when he made his first mistake he seemed to go to pieces. picked up after half time slightly though.

First 20 mins we were there and should have definetely scored but then it went downhill for the rest of the half

Second half we came out with the same energy as the 1st 20 mins.

the defence looks shaky. We need to bring in at least a centre back. I think the confidence thing is also happening with Killgallon.

We missed Monty to break up the game.

BT was immese today and deserved both goals.. also when Stead came on looked like he wanted to score and deserved his goal.

The peformance was okay but still needs improving but that don't matter. All that matters is that we got 3 points

Young reserve player - Cresswell was sat next to us lot today. I told him to get on pitch as he's a center half,lol. I think he'd do a better job!

A good come back, solid performance. But, need Carney and Hendrie to replace Quinn and Armstrong - have to stop giving the ball away.

I think we'll concede, but I also think we'll score too because Wolves aren't great defensively. 3-1 United.

I thought we were pretty good today for most of the match. It was only after we conceded, undeservedly, that we looked shaky because once again the fans were on the players backs.

As for the booing at half time, what an embarrassment. Boo for being the better side, and being unfortunate to go in behind? Give me a break.

The goal gave us the confidence we needed and full credit to Beattie for that goal, gambled and was then very brave to get in on the header. The man is an absolute class act.

Fully deserved win, I was never in doubt, even at half time.

A special mention to Olofinjana of Wolves, was very impressed, quality player.

well played yesterday lads, was nervous before kick off but we started extremely well. Dominated up until their goal which was a blow, and they took a foothold then.

Thought Bromby throughout was terrible, he allowed their left midfielder so much time and space. He did it for the goal, whcih shouldnt have been a free kick anyway, but Bromby gave too much space on that side.

Second half thought we were excellent, i don't agree with Keenzy, thought Gillespie played well on the right. Webber played well, showed confidence, in parts but showed how weak he is in tackles on a few occasions.

Beattie epitomized our never say die attitude today. Never gave a ball up and his first goal was a gamble paid off and should get a medal for bravery. Excellent penalty, and Stead was a nice finish to end the game. A bit flattering in places, Wolves were swift on the counter, albeit we gave them a lot of space, but we just about deserved the win.

Final point the booers are complete idiots, to take the piss at 2-1 up when we playing with so much confidence i booed just to take piss and heard someone moan behind, who booed at half time. Just shows the typical nature of a minority of our fans. Still excellent win against a team who will be up there come May, so lets kick on from here and stay behind our side. UTB

first of all the booing, i could have accepted that if we had played shocking and were lucky to be only 1-0 down. but like lots of fans are saying we had a great first 20-25 minutes and the goal went against the run of play, but also changed the play.

secondly gary breen, dirty little player most of the time and gets away with a hell of a lot. was tossling a lot with beattie today, most of it going his way. remember when he was at sunderland the other year when he got involved with andy gray, both got sent off i think in one of the fixtures.

I think it was a bit harsh to say gillespie was poor

He played alot better than recent games and put some dangerous balls into the box which we have been missing from him!

Was delighted yesterday a massive result for us to kick start our season

gillespie hardly beat his man, when times a cross needed to be put in straight away, he delayed allowing them to get playrs back. he didnt track back to help bromby who was having a stinker anyway.

Think some of the booing at H/T might have been aimed towards the ref. What a shit game he had.

I think the booing was directed at the ref. Every time Breen and BT came together he gave a fk to Wolves. As for the 17 handball claims we had, I thought he could've given one to us just out of courtesy.

As for the players, I think Bromby and Armstrong need to watch a few games from the sidelines. Thought Gillespie's supply from the wing was a lot better - maybe his efforts with Ireland last week left him with something to prove.

I'm not a massive fan of Armstrong, but to be fair to him he was playing MASSIVELY out of position on Saturday.
