Whether it is right or shite who knows but it has been commented on facebook and twitter that some of the management team headed over to watch Doncaster Rovers take on Scunthorpe today in the wake of our game being postponed.

What with us playing Doncaster at the beginning of February, maybe there is a bit of truth in this and it might have just been a routine scouting mission with the view to gaining a bit of information on them prior to playing them?. Alternatively it could just be a case of watching Alcock competitively again prior to making a final decision on offloading him in the up and coming window?

Alternatively, who knows? They might have nipped over to look at a player before the window opens up again? Maybe a player caught the eye against Scunthorpe recently and they wanted another look at him?. Supposed ITK nobheads claim us to have been watching Paddy Madden, which is no surprise of a rumour seeing as though he scored.

Anyway for those ambitious enough to believe that it may have been a scouting mission for potential targets, here are the starting line ups.

We should have had Paddy Madden three seasons ago. And Matt Richie. And Donaldson.

We will have people all across league 1 and I wouldn't be surprised a large amount of Championship and League 2 as well, so its hardly a surprise that we would have people at that match.

Considering how poor Scunny were against us then I hope they were just popping along to the retail outlet for a quick look in the Boxing Day sales. Looking at those lineups there's bargain basement buying and there's scraping the barrel

Rowe, Madden and maybe Canavan would be the most likely to be scouted.

werent many options in the region to watch a game, considering they wouldnt go to the new site of the tuna cannery that opens in 3 years
